blameturner Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 NOTE: this is being posted at halftime Notes on support as per usual. Cops swarming the sus. Bloody idiots for letting that off but they had the entire NSW police force on them. Big turn out by the fuzz. Support thoughts?
wilsonpastore Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 though flares are banned from games, seeing one being lit just makes me lol (in a good way)
wilsonpastore Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 the battons came out pretty fast on their small group of supporters
usm2011 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 article already in the herald scum http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/soccer/violence-rocks-soccer-match-between-sydney-united-fc-and-western-sydney-wanderers/story-e6frfg8x-1226456110281?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+HeraldSunSportNews+%28Herald+Sun+|+Sport+News%29
MrJuventus1981 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I don't mean to offend any Croations here but what a pack of ****ing Heroes those United fans were I mean come on this isn't Eastern Europe nothing has changed since the NSL days Dead set mutant central ... The gene pool was so shallow if I dived in I'd crack my skull WSW played terribly also
Spotbrock Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I didn't make the game, how did the team play?
Radicalista Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I don't mean to offend any Croations here but what a pack of ****ing Heroes those United fans were I mean come on this isn't Eastern Europe nothing has changed since the NSL days Dead set mutant central ... All I noticed is their bay was surrounded by cops while rbb had not one
Trojan Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Ifrom what i saw, i think the security over reacted, sparking a brawl, which then prompted the cops to full stampede their bay.. Its a little flare.. Who gives a ****.. Didnt hurt anyone.. Security had to show their presence so they swamped Mrjuventus.. Your best off not ranting and dissing the su supporters (or any supporters) based on race.. If u had something to say, you should of told them that at the match and not come on here and diss them.. **** that you wrote could start problems.. So i believe u should delete what you wrote.. The blokes that were giving us a bit of banter were su bandwagoners.. In saying that.. Im a bit disappointed in cops and security for kicking them out of their bay and not letting them back in.. This was the rbb first game against opposition supporters, they should of let them stay.. And get rid of whoever brawled with seccies..not the whole group..

Erebus Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 SydUtd fan at the entrance of the club when everyone was exiting: "you're not welcome here!" No worries mate. Give us a refund for all the money that was spent on beer and your steep admission price then.
BigDukes Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I think his point is that the united fans lasted a whole 5 - 10 minutes before letting that cracker off. Before that yeah sure they were loud. But that cracker drew attention to em..hence the cops. Then the whole standing behind us near the end was stupid

They had their laptops ready to report on bad behaviour.. Purid jurno dogs
WSSKIN Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 And yeah, police overreacted badly. If they didn't storm in, nothing would have happened. SUS might have thrown a fire craker, but the police started all the **** after it.
Noise Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Good effort tonight ****ers. Typical NSW police overreaction..I saw one of the blokes i talked to from the SUS..his arm was in a sling..lip bleeding. Over a ****en bunger? Rubbish.

Massive overkill, due to the media presence, cops will now be in full force..
Pup55 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 The crowd was pathetic. Maybe the $15 was a bigger turn off then we thought ? What happened to 7,500 ? The Team on the pitch was flat. Which isn't a good sign. There is no movement in the front third at all. Lucky kubi looked lively when he came on. Haliti tried hard as normal, and mooy was picking passes all day, but he had to keep hitting 30 yard balls because no one was coming short to play feet. The movement just wasn't there off the ball. Worrying signs !! Thought the RBB did ok. Most people in the RBB know the words now. Maybe time for some new chants. Impromptu chants like the one about ch9 were funny. Can I make a suggestion ? Who in the RBB actually watches the game ? I think we need to incorporate chants that reflect whats happening in the game. When the referee gave the pen that wasn't, and let them have it again "you don't know what your doing", screaming man on when one of our defenders has the ball under pressure, chanting Aaron mooy's name when he comes over to us to take a corner, etc etc.
julyaugustreno Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 a few minutes after it all went down tom smithies (who wrote that article) was spotted walking away from it all. The only good thing about it is that he specifically mentioned that the RBB were not involved, but still... Up until the bunga went off, the SUS were far louder and more fluent in the stands than we were. Obviously they've been at it for years and we've had 4 games to get ours up and running, but we could definitely learn a thing or two from them. Up until the bunga, I mean. I was disappointed to see them all get booted because it was our first real challenge off the pitch.
ge0rge10 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 What did everyone expect, good enough for the muppets the let it off! And they had their banner. And prob would've been more flares if the cops hadn't of waded in!! Good on the cops I say!!

That being said, its important to take baby steps. The wowowowowowowowanderers chant was awesome haha
ge0rge10 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Read what it said 'Prob', means probably, it's an educated guess!
WSSKIN Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Good on the cops I say!! ACAB chant was heard a few times.
wilsonpastore Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 from how i see it, if the cops didnt come flying in from all directions, the fight would not have started
TWayServiceCrew Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Smithies got the headline wrong I think he missed a word, it should read: "Police" Violence rocks soccer match between Sydney United FC and Western Sydney Wanderers
julyaugustreno Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 From the locked thread: julyaugustreno, on 22 August 2012 - 10:01 PM, said: Well that was fun. RBB Was pretty much on its best behaviour all night, I'll let the stories and rumours about Sydney United come out organically I think... We always are , who said we've ever done something wrong!!!!! channel 9 FULL OF SH(T channel 9 FULL OF SH:T This is a good point haha. I didn't mean to imply that we ever were poorly behaved, because its not the case.
BHF Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 SU Fans chanting "srbija ! srbija !" wtf was that about :S
StillWandering Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Wow great night. The RBB did well again, just think we should start adding variety to our chants, like others have said some more reactionary chants would be good. Pity about SUS they were doing well till one stooge had to light a fire cracker and In come the cavalry. The cops are doing their job, a tough one at that, yeh it was an over reaction but those are the rules. Its not going to change so lets hope we heed the warning otherwise some *** is going to light a cracker and we're all going to cop it. Pity about the few boys who couldn't handle their drink and were slinging **** our way. We come spend money at your club, act with respect at a friendly, and at the end of it all we should all want the best for Western Sydney. Besides the fools it was awesome, nice turn out with lots of kids though that $15 might have kept a lot away. I hope SU did well out of it. Nice stadium as well!
julyaugustreno Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 SU Fans chanting "srbija ! srbija !" wtf was that about :S This is just me making an assumption, but could they be likening us to Serbia, a country which they're generally known to be bitter enemies with?
