His start in the Red & Black was solid, and after playing in every game of the 2017/18 season he earned a 4 year contract extension. The 2018/19 season was a disaster, making numerous errors that cost the club goals & matches. He suffered a shoulder muscle tear injury in April 2019 in a game against the Brisbane Roar that was followed by another error that cost the team. His injury was extremely severe, requiring experimental surgery, keeping him out for the last two rounds of 2018/19 and missing the entire 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons.

How long until they change the recording, for when one calls WSW?

You mean it's a recording? I wondered why he wouldn't tell me which Muppet he would marry?

Club confirmed he won't play this season.

So how does this work, surely at some point the club would be able to rip up his contract, or reach a mutually agreed termination.

I just don’t see the point of him hanging around for another season. It’s not how pro football works…his whole situation seems odd…

His agent knows how to write a contract......:D

I imagine if it is workers comp, he remains listed at the club until either his contract expires or he is deemed fit to play.

Seems he just sits on the books but nothing else?

Holy f*cking ****!

One major signing the club (Wollongong Wolves) has managed to pull off is reigniting the career of former A-League keeper Vedran Janjetovic.

The 36-year-old returns to the NPL once more after spending the last ten plus years playing in the A-League with the likes of Brisbane Roar, Melbourne Heart (City), Sydney FC and the Western Sydney Wanderers.

The keeper suffered what appeared to be a career ending injury with a severe rotator cuff tear as he was sidelined for two seasons which ultimately saw the shotstopper hang up the gloves.

Janjetovic however has pushed through the barriers and has worked hard in getting back to fitness hoping to play the game he loves in the 2024 season.

Good for him being able to return and hopefully go out on his own terms.
