As much as we all love Tyson he is a professional and as a keeper it's hard to get a #1 gig in a 10-team league, if the opportunity presents itself then you take it. If/when it happens we should stand and applaud him for all the work he done for the club and the people of western Sydney when he returns to Wanderland - regardless of his colours.

Devastated if true.

**** the FFA and the buyers for drawing out the sale for so long, feel sure that is a lot to do with a bunch of contracts not being sorted out.

**** popa for not giving him a start at home in front of us ffs.

If true.

But I can't blame him and hope if true he gets a good welcome from us when he returns.

Very sad if true.

Good player + top bloke

It's a shame that Perth would get to profit from the training and mentoring from Covic and Corry invested in Jerrad.

But stepping back, best wishes to you Jerrad.

Which is why we need transfer fees, players get longer term contracts and clubs get rewarded for developing players

Ok. Here's the plan.

We loan him out to Perth (and he can't play against us).

When Covic retires, he comes back.

I can live with this compromise.

Wow this has most definely ruined my day. He will always be a wanderer no matter who he plays for. I am pissed

Sounds legit with Vukovic overseas.

Tyson and Hersi going to Perth...!

Woah!

I don't know how true this is??? In regards to vuka, (on the sbs/fox sports podcast) said that he was only loaned out from Perth and is currently on the outer after Arnold was given the flick. This means he is on the way back to Perth and then you have the youth team keeper who did admirably since January. What role does Tyson think he is going to have at Perth? At least in a year or two he will take over ante as number one, crazy move!

What are the rules regarding loans to other a-league clubs?

It would be a nice idea to loan him out and bring him back when he will be our starting keeper.

Can't get past Covic + too good for the bench = exit. I hope it is not true though. I don't like the thought if "our" players rocking up playing for other teams next year.

It's the Popa mentality. Be prepared for anything!

He embodies so much that I love about WSW and the community aspect.

Lost count of the number of times I've seen him at events he probably didn't have to be at.

All class.

I maintain hope this doesn't eventuate.

I maintain that hope-maintenance is the best we will be able to achieve of this front.

Covic is 38 and Tyson is 24 wouldn't it be worth it to hang onto Tyson and have some long term stability. How long has Covic got left? would probably free up some room in the cap as well?

Covic is signed on until the end of next season 2014/2015

It depends on how good Tom Manos is, if hes good enough to be the back up and Popa still wants Covic as #1, then Tyson is the odd one out
