Pig climber if you want to be literate...and as someone who would find the idea of Trifiro making an ascent on the dangerous southern face of a Berkshire faintly disturbing I think we need to steer clear of Bastian's surname.

Nobody will have ever predicted this!!!

HA!

Trifiro power!

That a Wanderers player would be shorter the Asian interviewer?

What's with the milkshake container? It's empty FFS!

I don't mind him ..... Cole on the other hand......PISSES ME OFF!!! Lol every time I want him out of the team , he does something great. That was a very well taken goal that any top line striker would've been proud of. **** you Cole! ;)

i always liked cole, i remember when esfc beat brisbane to end their streak i remember cole specifically, i dont pay that much attention to individual players but i always thought he did a good job

I think both players have hit their heights and have plateaued.

They don't have stand out games, they do enough at times but the average game for both players is give the ball away, give a decent pass, make a nice run, get caught in possession.

The yin and the yang of your average football.

Getting better all the time and is an important squad member. He is a good link in the midfield for a lot of the other players in the team and rarely loses the ball when in possession. Think he will be replacing Mooy next season and getting more game time.

My mate, a big Wanderers fan, collects number 23 jerseys from all sports - Michael Jordan, Beckham, Warnie, etc etc etc.

He's been thinking for a while now about adding the hallowed "Trifiro 23" to his collection.

I think it's time

I assume you're all talking about Glen.

has he ever won an ACL Player of the Match award though?

I agree that last season Trifiro had a few shockers (eg the two yellow cards after coming off the bench against the Mariners) but I've really rated him this season. I made a point of watching him a bit more closely at the Guizhou game to see if I could see what some of the anti-Trifiro camp are seeing but he was great. He made some good tackles tracking back and dropped deep to be the link between defense and midfield, sometimes splitting the centre backs to start from the back.

As has been mentioned, he needs to do this consistently but for what he is (a squaddie midfielder who's probably on low wages) he's doing better than most in a similar position in the league.

all in all a very standard average player.  if popa gave the younger kids a run they would be doing better.  we need to think about the future and he's another player that imo would like see  on.

Does well in the champions league when players are allowed to have more time on the ball.

In the a-league he gets gobbled up.

Good player, but to me he doesn't have that extra gear required when the opposition steps it up. I'd like to see some of the youngsters given a go ahead of him.
