    Description: Youth team player bought into the Wanderers squad before making his debut for a fixture against Wellington Phoenix in 2019. An injury to Tarek Elrich saw Wilmering bought into the starting lineup at the beginning of the 2019/20 A-League season. Suffered a bad knee injury early in the 2019/20 season. After coming back from the injury he signed a 2 year professional contract in 2021 but has only made sporadic appearances in those two seasons, and left the club at the conclusion of the 2022/23 season.

Didn't kick on did he. Looked ok when he first game in, then really hasn't improved. I remember watching him against Apia in the FFA cup a couple of years back and his confidence looked absolutely shot.

To be honest, he's been quite dreadful in the NPL squad this season.

Andrew Christensen was using him to take corner kicks and some free kicks. Some of his corner kicks would go out without for a goal kick to the opponents without the squad even contesting for the ball which is really disappointing. Eventually, Christensen started using Jesse Cameron to take the corner kicks.

However, I wish him all the best at the Jets.
