if he can keep himself fit and not injured then this is a great signing imo, welcome to the club

I thought he looked quite tidy on and off the ball tonight.

Yeah, with more games he should be a really good player for us. Good engine, good passing, not afraid to carry the ball, and made some crucial tackles as well. Basically a better version of what Dimas was two years ago.

I was impressed with Herd. Once fully fit he could do for us this year what Brillante did for FC last season

i can see opposition fans and players hating him

i can see our fans hating him when he misses a tackle or misplaces a pass.

he could make a game saving tackle or score a screamer to win us a game and our fans will still say he's **** because of two mistakes he made in round one and they already have their mind made up.

If he wears an active group sub culture t shirt then some of our fans will love him forever even if he does nothing else.

whats the context to this comment? I've never herd of the guy, let alone seen him play.

Interesting read...amazing how those European clubs are offering ten year contracts to 11 yr old kids on the other side of the world.

If Popa hadn't left....

I doubt anything would have changed. He played a bunch of games after his first return in January, and then left again.
