Perhaps Ante back to Victory to mentor Lawrence Thomas?

Jets should pick him up now Birighitti is gone, he's better than Kennedy.

He'd be a good leader for the re-build of that club.

Would add a lot of steel to their club (and with the likes of Labi, Mullen and Poljak there's some familiarity with personnel). Also would be okay for him re close to family and perhaps options for coaching transition.

Glad he didn't end up at the smurfs, but if he had gone would've been no sweat off my brow. He's won his plaudits and made history with us...whatever he has done or will do since he left WSW is his own responsibility. Good luck to him whatever happens

So what is happening with Ante? It was always a case of him training with the smurfs & potentially getting a contract. Now that the reserve goal keeper spot has been taken, what next for Ante?

Crazy to think of the meteoric rise of this club. And subsequent fall. Seems like a lifetime ago, but only 6 years since the biggest moment in WSW's short history. Lets hope we can get some of that grit, mongrel and tenacity back.

Would love to see him back at the club in some capacity, him, Beauchamp and Heffernan were doing very well with our women's team only for the club not to back them.

Catherine Cannuli too.  I'm still bitter at how our club seemingly treated them.

Should be interesting in League One Women's this season with Bankstown City v Marconi - Covic v Beauchamp!

Not sure I would agree that Catherine was doing that great. The girls didn't reach any heights last season. Not saying I necessarily agree with how she went?? But I do like what Hooker is doing and they seem far more competitive this year and without Clare Hunt.

Yep - Western United are top of the table, meanwhile we look to be missing out on finals once again, despite it being a Top 6 rather than Top 4 of previous seasons. :woah:
