Adam D'Apuzzo
Unlimited Posted January 25, 2014 Maybe this Tadrosse player doesn't have the qualities that Popa is looking for, then. Or maybe he has personality issues and Popa doesn't want "that sort" in the team. who knows If it's the second one though, I'd rather have a humble, nice, but less talented LB than a great LB who is a massive prick. theguyyouwishyouwere 1
Montalbano Posted January 26, 2014 Will be interesting to see how the left back position goes today as Adam is suspended. I hope we play Dean Heffernan because for me he is currently the best option.
Lmc Posted January 26, 2014 Played well as RB a few weeks ago. I don't think he went as well playing in the CB position though.
mack Posted January 26, 2014 Tadrosse was a great fantasy a-league player for NQF. So cheap, popped up with points every so often.
Prydzopolis Posted January 26, 2014 Think he should be put on notice with Heff having a solid game and thought cole had a blinder too!
TehSmileyBandit Posted January 26, 2014 Both Heff and Cole played outstanding. Adam is in danger in my opinion, though see above post. They will be targeted too when Jerome gets back.

zola Posted February 7, 2014 ******* terrible yet again. At fault for the goal, and always provided the Brisbane winger with space to receive the ball. Only God knows why D'Apuzzo feels compelled to stand 20 metres from his man.

Only God knows why D'Apuzzo feels compelled to stand 20 metres from his man. He'll be playing left back for us for the next 5 years. I've almost come to accept it. Thought Mooy could have done better regarding that goal as he was actually marking Berisha.

Thought Mooy could have done better regarding that goal as he was actually marking Berisha. Can't see why he doesn't give Heff (thought he was solid both weeks) or cole (he played left wing and right back, what's not to say he can play left back too?) A player like d'apuzzo plays football because he loves his sport and he isn't too worried as much about the money side of things. As an accountant with a CA I can see him earning 3 figures as soon as he leaves football something that other players haven't got the luxury around.
Davo Posted February 7, 2014 As soon as he lost the ball for the goal I turned to my mates next to me (with whom I'd been discussing D'Apuzzo pre-match) and pointed out how it's an example of him running himself into positions where he gets boxed in an loses the ball, then leaves us exposed at the back because he's so far out of position. In this case he really didn't work hard to get back until the moment where you see him realise we're in trouble and it's too late. Glad he isn't worried about money... theguyyouwishyouwere 1
TehSmileyBandit Posted February 7, 2014 I knew this conversation would be happening, his poorest performance in a reasonably poor season. Heff and Shannon deserve a starting spot more. Prydzopolis 1
Unlimited Posted February 8, 2014 I thought he did better in the second half with some good incisive passes and good dribbling skills in the Brisbane half. meryn 1
AEK Posted March 15, 2014 Honestly thought he was gonna be sent off today, Would have made a lot of people happy too lol
Burgerman Posted March 15, 2014 I thought I saw NTS telling him off telling him to stay in position, I don't think he wss that bad defensively after that but he certainly should have been sent off for the elbow or two yellow cards. Popa please don't play him on Wednesday
GunnerWanderer Posted March 15, 2014 (edited) Looked at my Aleague app when the game was delayed tonight. D'Apuzzo leads the A-league in tackles made. Giving Adam some love Edited March 15, 2014 by GunnerWanderer wendybr, TehSmileyBandit and Balkanite 3
Prydzopolis Posted March 15, 2014 Looked at my Aleague app when the game was delayed tonight. D'Apuzzo leads the A-league in tackles made. Giving Adam some love The only reason he has the most tackles is because teams have realized he is our weakness and targets all attacks down his wing. Doesn't get much help from bridge either, like the way that hersi comes back and helps polenz.
MartinTyler Posted March 15, 2014 Unfortunately it looks as if both D'Appuzo and Bridge have reverted back to their pre-Wanderers form. 102megan and ManfredSchaefer 2
Guest mickisnot Posted March 15, 2014 Fabio Ferreira ran into Adams elbow. I don't see what the big fuss was about lol
Montalbano Posted March 15, 2014 Thanks Adam for almost getting yourself sent off today. You only sailed close to the wind about 5 times after that first yellow card.
Unlimited Posted March 16, 2014 He had some good stuff going on in the second half, arguably I thought, being a lot more involved than Polenz.
Guest mickisnot Posted March 23, 2014 Adam D'Apuzzo was the player to watch according to the pamphlet lol Nathg and 102megan 2
