digging up an old post. just wondering what peoples experiences have been with these, I'm thinking of sending along my 6yo as she is a bit timid on the field and could do with some extra help

Blast it, was getting all excited there, I feel I am ready to make a come back and regain the glory of my school / county representative days  :good: Sure the legs might be getting a bit slower and my son almost gets past me these days......but that is nothing a sneaky trip / foul doesn't stop (much to the disgust of my wife). Just don't feel ready for my son to turn me in circles just yet lol

Yeah for the price of these I would want to know its worth it - sort of out off from looking at SAP

I looked at putting my son in SAP this year then went and checked it out and didn't see the value in spending the 2k it would cost when half the players couldn't even trap and pass

I thought SAP was supposed to be for elite players looks as thought its just a way to profit from the rich

I sent my son to the one at Wanderland a year ago.  He loved it.  Cole and Haliti came down as well and signed balls (size 5 sigh don't they understand).  Not sure if the club would do the same as it was the first time the courses had happened.  You may want to just put the younger one in for one of the days.  3 days is quite a big step unless she has a friend or friends to do it with.

The only way I would suggest to do three for a younger one is if you stay, sit and watch.  Plenty of parents stayed when I dropped off my older son so they can return and have a break with a Mum or a Dad.  Older son was in one of the promo vids actually when they were doing a WDYSF after the first one.

We'll do three days for the ten year old and more likely just one for the six year old even though he loves football being in his second year of playing formally.

I was planning on staying around for the duration of the sessions, I'm on leave those days anyway and I thought I might pick up some drills myself watching.

My son did a session some time ago. The Wanderers involvement seems to be in name only. The actual coaching was done by a third party company called Kick Start.

We now have him in a coaching clinic through his Football Club. This coaching is carried out personally by an Ex Socceroo.

It is.  Soccer KickStart also do GHFA clinics.  They could do with a change of name.  Does your son play for Redbacks per chance?  I know Mile Sterjovski is doing an academy with them.

My son has also done these camps a number of times ,he is in the nsw institute squad and still wants to go every school holiday, the coaching is excellent especially Diego the head coach , a Brazilian squad player who helped L Gorman set up the Mariners academy. I would highly recommend it
