    The new Western Sydney Wanderers kits for the upcoming season were leaked today.

     

    Barring a massive hoax, details and photographs were leaked on social media earlier today.

     

    If the leak is true, the home kit retains the red & black colours with the amount of hoops being increased. The other major change is the A-League logo & Nike logo have been swapped to have the Nike logo above the A-League logo. Personally I think the A-League logo needs to be moved onto the shirt sleeve like virtually every major league in the world.

     

    The away kit matches the number of hoops from the home kit, but the away colours have changed from red & white, to a silver/grey & white. It has yet to be seen if the shorts colour has been changed to the popular option of black. The existence of a third kit is also unconfirmed.

     

    This could be the last season Nike make the kits for the Wanderers, as the initial three year deal expires after this season, and rumours are swirling that Adidas will swoop in with a larger offer. This would be in line with their Adidas' aggressive strategy of taking over Nike merchandise rights, such as the recent switch by Manchester United from Nike to Adidas.

     

    The official release is set for Wednesday the 6th with an event at the Newington Armoury.

    do the hoops go all the way around is my question?

    i mean will it be like season 1 were at the back its black or more like last season where the hoops hoop all around the hooped jersey in a hoopathon design?

    i would actually like to see the away kit with every 2nd grey stripe being a black stripe, it could look horrible but i am curious :P

    Hoops are our trademark now. I doubt the away kit would stray from it.

    Id like to see a season where we perhaps go for hoops on the socks aswell Dortmund style. 

    Also with talk of Adidas hijacking our deal id love for an Ac Milan style white collar.

     

    Like the away jersey if thats it. Keen to see what the shorts are.

     

    Also just wish NRMA would go without the box... Its on red and black hoops they can just go with the white font ffs.

    I'm not a fan of how the NRMA box sits out of line now. Last 2 seasons, it didn't filter onto the red. This jersey does. It sits better on the white and grey, but still.

    I'm not a fan of how the NRMA box sits out of line now. Last 2 seasons, it didn't filter onto the red. This jersey does. It sits better on the white and grey, but still.

     

    I don't understand why the design department just didn't remove that block all together and fill a shape slightly larger than the NRMA logo. 

     

    Although im sure NRMA don't care, just as long as the logo is exposed.

    This. It's a plain white logo on a red and black jersey. Shouldn't need that black patch.

    I like the away kit.

     

    and I'd like adidas to be the manufacturers next season.

    that way i could wear 'next seasons' kit this season by sticking a wsw sticker on the crest.

    Meanwhile the merchandise crew trying to figure out how the new shirts got released when there is supposed to be a sale embargo on them :l
