Red & Black Bloc is the Supporters Group Name

As people have said, it will be called the bloc more than likely. Given it doesn't roll off the tongue well but the shortened RBB chanted will be awesome in a full crowd

hated it at first, but when they started chanting RBB it made me think how crummy chanting the asylum would sound, still rather the name the asylum but RBB is way better in terms of how it sounds when being chanted

I like the name the bloc!!!. RBB will have to grow on me though.

People need to get over the Western Front name.

1. Its West Coast Eagles supporters group (iirc)...do we really want an ALF name?

2. the long storied history of Western Front who took ownership of the name and thus we don't want to have anything to do with them

3. fans of other teams need to get over it because its not their team anyway.

I reckon we're more likely to be referred to as Red & Black Bogans, however, that will become a term of endearment. Yeah RBB chant sounded HUGE!!!

i liked the idea of naming the home end 'The Asylum', and our supporter group being known as RBB, but majority rules.

i'll support it, and i'm sure it will grow on me

For the record "red and black blog" seems a favourite, no idea why.

I would have preferred The Aliance over those names but out of those three i have RBB as the favourite and as for the logo i ****ing loved the the one with the mask. That has got to be the best one i have seen not only on this site but in the whole A-League and the most intimidating.

Actually i think the Cove is pretty good at least when compared to the rest of the A-League supporter Groups , for me Melb Heart with Yarraside and the Cove for SFC are the two best supporter names in the League, at least they have significance to the city where they are from

Awful name. Not because of any 'communist connotations' or any **** like that. Just sounds ****ing dreadful to say. And this is coming from a guy who supports a team called 'Roar' with an active support called 'The Den'. This is worse.

 

Had high hopes for a 'Western Front'/'Western Union'/Asylum nickname. Something with pizazz. This is just bland.

Nobody gives a **** Scouseroar...It's our name, we like it, so **** off.
