  • ACL Final Live Site Centenary Square Parramatta

    mack

Parramatta City will be hosting a live site for the Asian Champions League final second leg on Sunday morning.

Set to be officially revealed tomorrow, the live site will be at Centenary Square Parramatta, previously known as the Church Street Mall.

Opposite the Parramatta Town Hall, the precinct was recently given a $5 million dollar restoration and this live site will be one of the first major events held there.

Really, how much grog can people drink between say 3 & 6 am anyway ?

Good luck with the toilet situation packed in that square.

I can't wait, whether its perfect or not.

If people are forced to urinate into the fountain holes then we all might be in for a rude shock once they turn the water in and reverse the process.

Beer showers or golden showers...one way or the other we are going to be sprayed with pale yellow liquid.

I'm sure there will be plenty of Portaloo's there.

Let's not give the media any ammunition, and let's all look after the gardens that adjoin the square. They always look well looked after and we don't want the place trashed.

Reliable sources have told me that we can be heard from Andromeda.

Is that a Meda that measures Andros?   :ninja:

    Yes.

    Yes it is.

And that's where we can be heard from.

Am hoping to get to the live site. In negotiations with my co-wsw enabler to see if we're able to swing it. Fingers crossed!

Another thing, not that it will affect how we act anyway.

What about the noise? How come the council has allowed this to go through considering many non-Wandering Parramattans will want to sleep at that time?

I'm not complaining, I'm just interested.

Probably because usually the only peopl within ear shot in that area of Parra at 3am are druggies, tramps and homeless refugees. We probably seem like a better alternative.

Yeah just the usual gypsies , tramps n thieves ........hang on a minute....there's a song in there somewhere.....

Sure .......... council will have to recoup some of the associated costs somehow.

On a serious note it will be no different to usual, just less cars on the road.

Just catch the last train to Parra from whatever line you are on (like I'm doing) and get there a bit earlier. Then head to the Collector until kick off.

Geez, don't like the look of this......

Oh well, it was either fountain water, urine or rain that was going to get me wet anyway. Or maybe a Wanderers win.

    i dont speak weather
Bit of a noob too but a low pressure weather system isn't good, neither is the parts of NSW which are covered with the angled black lines (means rain)

    • 1 year contract extension this pre-season after scoring 9 goals at his age suggests he & his agents were expecting good performances over the remaining two years of the deal to enable a move to Asia or Europe, or at minimum, a very good A-League contract. It probably has a release clause now too.
    • Credit to Lions City, they suffocated Sanfrecce Hiroshima for a draw at home, they embarrassed the Smurfs there too. But Lion City do not have a good away record in the ACL2, they have only won 1 game against a Thai Club so this would go in Smurfs favour at home
