Set to be officially revealed tomorrow, the live site will be at Centenary Square Parramatta, previously known as the Church Street Mall.

VERY disappointing that the club posted that information - rather than waiting to announce the Live Site first.

Every day some form of wanderers clothing, flag on car, chants in the car, forum morning and night, bipping the horn outside anyone's place with a flag outside their house (a few around these streets, respect) and I admit myself pumped like its the morning of a game.

    Longest week EVER.

Should we assume the clubs official response did not mention the Centenary Sq site as it's not officially announced yet?

That, and as Megan been complaining for a while now, our clubs social department don't meet her high expectations.

    Would love scenes, like this...

theres lots of options available doubt it at that time we will get thousands, people now have the option of albion/marconi/blacktown plus at home for those who have foxtel. But nothing beats a live venue and everyone if possible should try to get to the live venue

Those are all clubs that have a sponsorship with the club. The club is obliged to promote them even if they themselves have something else planned.

Just like how the club has an "official online store" but they want you to buy straight from them or the pop up stores.

There's a problem with that though.

However that is the address for the regular Blacktown Workers Club

Woo hoo! The Workers Club.....grab a granny then watch the game!!!! :P ......although at my age granny would be in her 80's....ewwww!

lol for the first match against melb, there was quite a few grannys there interested in our match, but on closer inspection i noticed they had just fallen asleep watching the game on the big screen. That place lacks red and black atmosphere

i think today is national pick on megan day

Apparently our chairman (Paul Lederer) won't be travelling? Why? He's Jewish.

Never wanted to win so badly. Maybe he'll join us?

The club have announced some license venues where we can watch the game. All good.

And the tomorrow the live site gets confirmed and its a big announcement with wsw and council. It's all good.

The club have announced live sites to be conducted at venues of some of their category & or business partners.

Parramatta Council have announced the live site being conducted within the town hall precinct.

Don't be under any illusions, the club & Parramatta Council worked closely together to achieve this outcome.

To my way of thinking, the more live sites across Western Sydney to support the main site in P'matta the better.

Many fans are unlikely to attend Parramatta in the early hours of the morning, but, may attend one of the other venues nearer to their residence, particularly if they consider them to be more convienient & or family friendly.

Before anyone chooses to make potentially negative comments about what has been achieved with the P'matta live site, just remember the local council have never, to the best of my knowledge, ever done anything similar for the Eels or any other sporting team that represents our region. Football is on the rise.

Lets celebrate the occasion whilst being mindful of the public focus that shall be upon us.

I have no issues with the other sites along with the Parra live site. But I said in a previous post on the other thread about this that I just feel I should be in Parra Sunday morning and being elsewhere wouldn't feel right.

I will be at the Parra live site with a probably grumpy Mrs WSWBoro in tow  :clapping:

Nothing beats a live site. I've already heard a few of my mates say they will just go to Marconi 'cause it is closer'

Funnily enough they are the ones that missed most of the ACL games  :unknw:

Fair enough for those who plan to watch at home with young family or have to work the night before and maybe a few other valid excuses.

My 8 year old son said he will go to sleep 3 hours earlier (those with kids know this never happens) just to get up and go to watch at the live site or use the money in his bank account to get a hotel room in Parra so 'we aren't as far from the place we are going to daddy'

This is the type of thing people should be saying now after the hard work of people to make this happen.

calling a spade a spade though and sorry if I offend anyone but i don't care... it may be 50 years before we get to play in a competitive game of such importance again. I don't see how any fan who claims they love the wanderers wouldn't want to get down to our home and be shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters. If we win it's going to be a magical experience you will cherish for the rest of your life and if possible surely you would want to experience it in a fitting environment. If we lose you can cry with a stranger and blame the ref  :P

Spread the word people lets make this massive  :flag:

this is an achievement that makes you want to point to the star on the shirt when you get asked how many titles or championships we won. it gives us lifetimes worth of happiness if no-one else wins it. we'll keep adding stars on the shirt until our shirt looks more prestigious than every single club out there.

Well this one is the one that matters. let the haters hate
