I have no faith in Stajic. He'll go the same game plan as last derby with a similar result. Hope I'm wrong.

Interesting to see how this one goes, didn't go to Unite Round last year (was away) - Brisbane and Adelaide play first, would their fans stay on for the Sydney derby or...?

I reckon some of their fans who bothered to come to Sydney will stay….

I hope no ****er are in the stadium from ours or ESFC for the first game…playing home games away is rubbish and shouldn’t be supported.

Lawrence probably back in. Hopefully lack of match fitness doesn't become a problem.

    Staj's tactical inspiration

    Roger that :good:

    So we're going to:

    1. Regularly pass the ball backwards
    2. Over-hit / under-hit our passes thus turning over possession to the opposition,
    3. Get an advantage and blow it by doing 1&2
    4. Pass the ball to the player with 3 defenders on him
    5. Get the ball into the opposition goal 3rd, cleverly weave it into the goal area and fluff the final touch
    6. Start slow, concede goals, and spend the remainder of the time chasing the  game

Just getting in early in the hope that Stajic is reading the forum and will prove me wrong

I'm really hoping I'm wrong but I feel like copy pasting my forecast of last derby (I was only 4 mins out on the time of the goal)

We have the squad to play so much better

So I'm going to be positive

    a team with

    Borello

    Milanovic

    Kraev

    Mata

Is more than capable of smashing teams in this league

Well heads up for anyone travelling into the city that there may well be yet more industrial action with a slight possibility of no trains at all! Obv Metro and buses not affected but geez people.....I have sympathy for some unions and workers but the RTBU are stretching the friendship with this one.

Metro is down between Chatswood abd Sydenham this weekend I think for track works. So potentially no metro or trains then.

Just need the light rail to go down as well now.

I'm a Labor man (generally) but not always.

The RTBU however, are just a bunch of greedy c****s.

Their claims are ridiculous and they are scared of the Metro and how successful it has been.

The fall in Sydney Trains patronage on the T1 line has been amazing because so many North Shore Line passengers are swapping to the Metro at Chatswood for a significantly quicker trip into the city.

The RTBU can rot in hell for all I care.

    It is.

What I don't get is that section has only been open for 2 months. What in the hell needs maintenance at this stage?

Because things made over around the last 30 years are shyte and much more things to break and go wrong. I mean..look at cars now…back in the day you put a key in and turned it on…if something bust you could rip it out yourself and stick a new one in….good luck now…you have to plug the car into a lap top to run diagnostics and all that…

Middle aged bloke things were better in my day man rant over

Yep as the father of a nurse who was told by our premier that she and her colleagues shouldn't expect to get safe patient ratios and a decent pay rise (how unreasonable!) I have no time for the RTBU or the cops union and their ridiculous demands.

I think the lineup for the Derby would be the same as the Adelaide game and if Thomas is fit, he should take his place in goals with Holmes dropping to the bench.

Broke down once in outback Sth Aus....was in a HQ Holden 202 enigine.......bent push rod.

Local gave us a lift into the next town where the local mechanic gave us one for free in a used but in good condition ( he had about 30 or 40 from old engines )  and the loan of a torque wrench with the settings we needed so we could fix it.

A couple of hours later we were on our way. Gave the mechanic his wrench back and wanted to pay him but all he wanted was a few beers.

    Bought him a six pack.

    :D

I am clueless on how to repaie engines on the cars of today.:sorry:

There's an American diner I've always wanted to try in Surry Hills but haven't got to visit yet

Was planning to go there with a date but we all know that's not happening any time soon...
