Smurfs play ACL midweek

It'll be our last home game for the (regular) season and it's on a Saturday night

Who knows, I might need to sit in my allocated seat this time

Well I was suggested an HSP from Little Greece…

I looked at the menu though and they called it a Spartan box? Doesn’t sound very halal

No, but it's a marathon to eat and you can defend it to the death.

The perfect result tonight in the ACL2 is a 2 goal win to the Smurfs at full time.

This would necessitate extra time. Then at the end of extra time, no change to the aggregate resulting in a penalty shoutout with a loss on penalties.

I'm still in two minds about the Smurfs and this comp. Whilst they are in it their attention is elsewhere and they seem more fragile in A League. I'm still not sure how a fully focused SFC might go on A League. They are still the best attacking front line on paper and with Segecic firing from the bench... Don't know...

If Newcastle draw or beat them and they lose the 2 legged semi on aggregate, it could lead to a Smurf-less championship

And they have spent a motza to win everything this year!

From an A-league perspective we sort of want them to win because Co-efficient and an extra champions league spot.

But its the Smurfs.... Screw them. If they were to get through tonight we want them to go through extra time.

Walked past a Lions City player and coach having a coffee and a dart in the CBD this morning. They are either going to boss this or collapse!

Said player better be Bailey Wright

3-2 Adelaide and back up to 6th for the moment after an 89th minute goal

This is a good result. Pressure now on the Smurfs who need a win  to stay in the top 6. Newcastle will be highly motivated.

Redmayne contract not being renewed!
