Every time Milanovic shifts the ball to his left foot anywhere near the box, he's taking a shot. He's becoming very predictable.

I rewatched the game yesterday because I was able to see part of it live. Milanovic. His form is a tease, always keeping you on edge and he delivers some of the time or by accident #flickongoal.

At 25 minutes  3 vs 2 and decides to shoot which he proceeds to crew up, meanwhile had he just looked up Kraev was in acres of space and it opened up for him to pass it. Its like his Balkan subconscious says "Shoot F******" and he can't help himself. We got Ninko on the bench as coach you would think he could pull Milanovic to the side and tell him to scan the field and stay composed to pick the right option. Its happened a few times and in comparison to Sapsford who tends to choose the right option 9/10 times it just his finishing that needs work. But Milanovic he really needs to work on this part of the game otherwise it will difficult for him to take that next step.

Borello as well had a so/so game. It wasn't bad but he has more in his locker. The good thing is the rest of the team picked up the slack, and defensively Panta and Bonetig are building a decent partnership and getting more confident, with another clean sheet and good desperation in the box to defend. Thomas as well building up the communication with those in front of him. Helps that Clisby is in the form of his life atm.

He even started it with his high press. Sapsford with a silky backheel and Clisby summoned the Football ancestors to finish cleanly.

Serious 2012-13 (Inaugural season) vibes with how this team is going right now.

This season, looks Auckland unless they implode in their remaining 9 games, look to have top spot sewn up, 8 points ahead 2nd place Adelaide United. If they do as AFC classes both Auckland FC and Wellington Phoenix as OFC teams within AFC league.

Means 2nd spot is so important at present, with ladder looking like this:

2nd spot - Adelaide - 31 points, +4 GD

3rd spot - Western United - 29 points, +7 GD

4th spot - Victory - 29 points, +5 GD

5th spot - WSW - 28 points, +8 GD

6th spot - City - 28 points, +7 GD

7th spot - Smurfs - 26 points, +9 GD

8th spot - Bulls - 25 points, +7 GD

9th spot - Jets - 21 points, -1 GD

10th spot - Mariners - 21 points, -11 GD

Realistically, feel the way Mariners season has gone and their -11GD, that the game against them on Saturday was their Grand Final.

Jets, whilst same amount of points, run they are on, can't discount them just yet from finals calculations.

Bulls, whilst just 3 points below City and WSW, feel their season is over with the loss of Piol, Drew and now Germain to overseas clubs.

WSW pivotal games coming up, we still play Victory, City, Western United, Bulls and Jets in the run in.

Smurfs a lot depends as they have next round of AFC CL 2 in mid March (both home and away) which could impact their run in

I've totally forgotten about him. Ah, the good old days when we were discussing post codes, the CBD being in the centre of Sydney because it was west of the Eastern suburbs, how a building ended up on the crest of the team for all of Sydney. Or how Arnie "lent" wsw their other big stadium in the alternate centre of sydney. Or when the family running FFA was shareholder of the club in Hakoha blue.
