Just watching the replay. Harper was ecstatic when the own goal was scored. He could not hide his joy.

Harper cant keep ESFC out of his mouth when they play its so obvious the bloke is biased

The bias of these A League commentators is criminal.

They are just as bad as the formula one commentators, I don't get how people who are so obviously biased have jobs like this

The win against the Bulls just highlights how important the dropped points against Auckland and Sydney are.

IF we had held on to daw against Aukl and for the win against Sydney we would be on 29 points and 3rd.

We are our own worst enemies.

A few Bulls supporters did not think Kurto is the worst GK who always timewastes, said all teams do it. Yeah right. They may do it to some extent but not the extent of Kurto very game

I think Redmayne would be next cab off the rank😉

Oddly there’s hope in that what if statement, all the teams between us and second are very close, indeed closer than it seemed more recently, definitely doable to finish in top six

No I think they are right. Its only because we haven't seen fumble Redmayne in a while. He always fakes cramp 80th minute + or takes that little bit longer for goal kicks etc.

On the Cows looks like there was a bit drama at the end. The owner came and took the players into the sheds without acknowledging the away support, Valere Germain made a post on insta about the ref just to top off his previous suspension.

Faghani I respect his willingness to allow play to continue but he is so conservative with cards. Holman really should have gotten a yellow for his tackle, so I am not sure where Germain thinks the ref went wrong just acting like a prick.

Truly pub team.

@StringerBellend Thoughts on the formation…? :P

I was out with her indoors having a dinner before watching some scouse (well Wirral) synth pop.

So haven't watched the game yet. Therefore not in a position to comment other than I was checking the score under the table.

Did we change formation? I'm going to watch replay this arvo.

Massive result that though

It's all a bit random...an injury time collapse in the derby, and insane own goal only we could score yesterday..and a worldie goal....and yet Staj has us (some how) hanging in there!

First half was terrible yesterday and yet I have been to two games on the bounce and despite the random uncontrolled nature of it all.....it HAS been entertaining enough.

And so...for the first time in a long while...I am contemplating going up to Gosford this weekend. Not been to an away game there in ages...I would expect nothing more that a period of terrible football, totally random defending....and yet some entertainment in the mix...

A win there and it's really on!

Maybe but on current form there are probably 6 teams better than us.

We were extremely fortunate that Germain talked himself into a red card last week.

If Sawter scored that header, it would have been 0-2 and probably game over.
Thankfully Thomas pulled off a great save.
They don’t score and we go on to win with two fantastic goals. That’s football.

Interestingly, that was also 3 goals in a row for us that were flagged offside but overturned by VAR.

Thomas that is the big difference between him and recent GK such as Margush, the difference was there last season when Thomas was out injured

2 massive saves he did against Sawyer. And very assertive in the box after it was clear Panta and Bonetig were losing half the battles in the air against Sawyer. Sawyer built like brick skyscraper. Those 2 boys really struggle against an overly physical player. They did seem to eventually find a way to smother and limit chances but Thomas was big when we needed him.

Once you’ve watched the game, let me know if we played with a formation…

I'm intrigued

I've been advocating for Staj should to go with Jazz football when  Mata's back, no position just improvise around a loose framework like Miles Davis

Start of this season, too. I do not think I will ever emotionally recover from the Adelaide defeat at home.

Yeah, which is very poignant why we need Thomas. Plus a more serviceable backup like Holmes who has been a starter in this league, just in case touch wood another injury occurs to Thomas.

Have noticed some long kicks panta goal kicks, short to mid-range Thomas does the goal kicks

Germain has quit the cows lol

Had a sook over the standard of refereeing and spat the dummy.

He wants to play in Japan lol. I'd actually like to watch that, he'd be like a bull in a China shop

No way he just spat the dummy. I think he was looking for an out after he got offers from Japan.

Then again Pub mentality.

What's even funnier is his complaint against Aus referees when Firgani is Iranian....lol

:D

Could those posts on his instagram account over the weekend commenting on the standards of referees, be a charge of bringing the game into disrepute.

Us fans can say crap decisions within reason, but a player or coach online or on field
