Carluccio to midfield, Simmons to play right back, Gersbach to left back, maybe Pelekanos to CB

Matta in the midfield with Priestman, Brillante at centre back was working.

I think this game is gunna be tough I don’t think we will have our defences sorted for at least 3 weeks .

if we can get a decent centre back and hopefully Wookie comes back better without injury

Thought I was changeable, gone from Perth was an abortion due to fatigue to we are three weeks away from having defence sorted

Yep I do and by the time we get a decent defence the season may be gone ,

so rather than sack the coach get rid of a heap of players it would be good if we can build on this seasons work for next season 

but sadly a lot of people and you lead the pack in number of posts on , get rid of the coach , get rid of this player that player , the club is f$&@ed .

give Staj another season and build players like Gersbach to be here over the next few years ,we do have good base to the future

Staj has shown nothing to justify any hope in this game. There has been a sense that we have been treading water to the Jan transfer window to try and save the season. The result is now we need to go on a winning run almost immediately to have any hope of guaranteeing finals, let alone being contenders.

Hope I am wrong but we have been down this path too many times for me to have faith. Tipping a 3-1 loss.

Mata is getting old, he played poorly in Perth, Staj would know better than you or me how the trip to Perth and back affected him and whether he was able to backup and start again 3 days later.

You have gone from we just need to get back to winning ways to we need to build for next year.

You get upset when people say our players aren't good enough e.g. Clisby and should be let go, but now say we need to rebuild the defence around gersbach. That's what the naysayers have been saying for ages now.

it is how rebuilding works you need to let the players go that aren't performing.

I agree it would be great to nor let players go and build for the future. question for the club is Stajic the dude for the gig? At the moment it's looking like another Rudan. Although to be fair to RudeBoy he got into the 6th first season and won a derby to earn a second season. 

PS as for the club being ****ed. Maybe it's about expectation. The women are dead last, men have made th finals once since Popa and going to home games is now down to a few diehards going out of a weird sense of duty. 

2 wins at home all season and absolutely dreadful football.

I think there is one bit where I am more positive than you. I think the squad is good enough to be top 6.

Anyhow hopefully we can get on a winning run and awe what happens

100% this. There is absolutely nothing in Staj’s coaching history to suggest that anything will change if he stayed on. Mediocrity.
