Yep, after this weekend's results, we need this to stay in touch. We dropped 2 points against the other big dud team of the season in the Roar, we can't afford to do it again.

Ideally, we can get 3 wins (including Perth) and im not very confident vs Auckland

It would be typical WSW to win against a tougher Perth, then drop points at home against Mariners

Our home form has been crap for a few seasons

yes

We have W2 D1 L3 at home that's crap

Away

W2 D2 L1

Ok only 1 more point away than home but we played 2 more home games and we should be winning at home

You have to wonder what Einstein's come up with the draw. Makes the NRL planning look good, and that is saying something.

Add to that, Perth have 10 days till their next game.

Milanovic needs to pick a yellow in this game so he plays against Auckland

Perth remains the Aussie version of "can you do it in rainy day in Stoke". Fortunately with the large break you would think the bye get in early to shake off the plane flight energy. Its a short turn around for Perth with a thin squad we should be winning, but it would be so Wanderers to blow this. That's what happened last year when Perth was getting smashed at all sides and they won, away to us.

We have never done well away in Perth. Popa always took a thin team, resting main players. The last few years, the flight, the lateness of the game (by our timezone) and whatever else has meant we play poorly. It had been a bit of a fortress for them - until this year.

Also we don't seem to come off the break very well. Takes a game or so to get back into gear. We will see.

Have to win these next two games or its another season gone

going off that form it will be a draw tonight

not ideal but not terrible - but it puts alot of pressure to win at home to CCM.

Mata either starts or doesnt play at all tonight - he should be starting tonight or friday against CCM

A draw would be terrible. If we have any actual ambitions of top 4 and winning a trophy.

With the comparative squads we should be winning this one and winning it well. They are crap

If we are happy or even content with a draw then we are more Everton than I thought

Absolutely moronic isn’t it. The two weeks over Christmas and NY that most people seemed to be of, felt like there were very few additional fixtures. Once most people go back to work, they start playing bulk midweek games haha I don’t understand

we arent winning a trophy this season - thats just the reality with the defence we have.

snag Degenek/ an influential CB with leadership and that changes things.

we should have beaten Brisbane at home weeks ago - if we cant do that, how can we seriously say we have a competitive squad for a trophy this season?

this game  has banana peel written all over it
