We don't have enough fit centrebacks to play 3 at the moment

I think with Cleur suspended with 5 yellows and a hamstring injury, Simmons will start. Priestman will most likely start to replace Scicluna.

Simmons injured. Won't be back until March at the earliest. Cameron is likely to come in the starting line up and has previously featured in the line up.

Staj could throw Mata in the midfield because of how defensive the Cows play but with that hack Brattanm, Priestmann may be better for physical presence. Priestmann has to step up now Scicluna is out.

Our form.has been excellent but the players out definitely fill me with some worry for tomorrow. Hope I'm wrong. Looking forward to getting out to the game. Hopefully there is a bit of a lift on our recent attendances.

With the run of injuries we're having, do you think Staj will go with 3 at the back and play 3-5-2 formation?

That would make it worse, we are desperately low on Centre Backs playing 3 of them instead of 2 will be worse.

I'd bring Mata in for sciluna and Simmons in for Cleur if he's fit enough (which I doubt so he'll give the kiddy a go)

Also Staj has the system working now, he won't change it he'll slot new players into it and assume they know the job

I suspect the stajinator will go with Priestman in mid.

Yeah that's why I'm not confident of a result.

Normally I'd agree..well sort of I mena it's obviously rare we agree but in normal cases I would as this Is exactly the sort of game we normally lose.

But I'm getting on board the Staj train to happiness, stopping at sexual football central and Clisby has learned to cross.

Staj is not the sideline.

At least the coaching team just doesn't have Plan A, they have Plan A plus Adjustments for the opposition.

There was a tactical discussion of the Adelaide game on the YouTube channel Round Ball Podcast

Looking at the Bullsh1tters, getting in behind the lumbering CB and Vujica will be key. Sapsford will most likely start to run, Milanovic against Vujica and Kraev against Adamson

If I was in a tipping comp, I would have picked Macarthur

The ALeague seems to have "wacky" results where a team's form stops at an upset loss

Priestman ain’t that good. There has to be more to the game than just running around a lot. As far as Mata starting, it’s now or never I reckon.

He's a serviceable squadie for now. Looking at the depth in other teams, he probably about on par. It's his chance to step up now. Scicluna and the Hoff both took their chances, so far priestman hasnt

Does the fact Macarthur just flew to Perth and back have an effect on them

In post-match analysis for their game against Perth, 3 shots on target, 3 goals.

The team needs muscle out Brattan and stop Drew and Jakolis.

I also want to see a Germain red card

They had Perth away but we were away to Adelaide on the same day so the travel isn’t that different.

I’d argue that Adelaide made us work a lot more than Perth made them work.

Actually, the Post-game analysis suggested Perth were much better than 3-0 loss to the Bullsh1tters would suggest.

3-0 was a little flattering as a couple of the goals were self inflicted rather than Bulls brilliance.

That said, they still had the majority of possession, more than double the number of passes in the opposition half, and were able to give Hollman, Drew, and Jakolis an early rest as the game was pretty much done by half time.

First game of 2025 my new years resolutions

1) stop moaning

2) become Stajic In

3) try not to blame Clisby for everything that goes wrong e.g. goals conceded from poor marking, being out of position to the US election and the Australian cost of living crisis

4) shout to get the f-ing thing forward, yes I will embrace tantric football

5) moan at leaving Mata on the bench for 72mins

It won't last but I'm trying
