It’s disappointing that on a night like this we play like that but then again it was probably always gonna happen wasn’t it? From the highs of the ACL win, the following decade has been **** and tonight just proved as much. Such contrasting emotions. What a sorry state this club is in 

I'm not mystic meg but us getting bummed tonight conceding lots was always going to happen on our acl celebration 

Let's face it shitting the bed on a big night is very on brand for us (for the last 8 years anyway)

Eh, you can put me in the 'not taking it easy on him' column. That was appalling. At his age and level of traning, all four of those stops should be muscle memory. I'm even willing to give him the first one, but goals 2, 3 and 4 were BAD. He should have caught the first but I somewhat understand the decision if the ball is swirling

- Pause the video at .32 seconds. He HAS to see the adelaide attacker coming which means he makes a stop/interference vertically to go over Ayoubis head. If he's connecting passed ayoubi, he should be catching.
- Second goal was absolutely saveable. A shot passing him at chest height when the shot is taken outside the box is criminal. It hasnt like it skimmed the inside of the post, it was a foot inside. I could get into the head movement at 1.07 and how he should have taken a step up but its barely worth discussing if the foundations are clearly missing
- The 4th goal was the worst of the lot. Wookie is super lazy on this one too. As soon as that line is broken, Vida should be flying out like a bull at a gate. Low, hard and wide. He does none of these and conceded yet another goal for it. Wookie should have seen the run and known he keeper SHOULD have been causing a deflection and hairing back to clean up... he just watches

Its little nit picky stuff but its how you win games and trophies.

Very disappointing! It was like watching 'park" soccer. Our players can't control the ball without having three touches, can't pass to a team mate, and always kill a fast break by turning the ball backwards. Some of the senior players need to get a lot fitter.

This was all predictable from the beginning. Staj has never won anything. Even the club wasn’t confident and gave him a one-year contract. 
 
The time to remove him is now. If we are going to get anything out of this season we need to re-start as quickly as possible. I don’t expect the club will do this because it’s pretty clear the new chairman is worse than the last chairman - which is saying something.

This was like a get together, a kick about with your mates. Absolutely no structure or game plan at all.

Their touches and passes were complete donkey and on top of that, the defence is a complete **** house, we go from having the likes of NTS, Beauchamp, Spiranovic, Alberto, Marcelo and Mrcela to useless defenders in Jeong and Bonnetig

its honestly been many years since i have actively followed the wanderers,  i came back at a very....interesting time, no defense but can actually look good in attack when we feel like it(at least the 2nd half) while its mostly doom and gloom since we have 1 entire point in 3 matches, i am actually interested to see how this plays out, but defense was so disappointing, never had any confidence we wouldnt concede

maybe Adelaide made our attack look decent though
