Why on earth is the ownership letting Eddy Bosnar, who has done absolutely nothing to justify having this kind of impact & determination on what the club does, prevent us from moving forward with a new coach?

It's just bizarre.

It is almost as if the club think that Rudan, Bosnar and co had us on the right track

People of being saying we need a sporting director for continuity.

Well if appears we have one and he is giving us continuity by continuing the **** show that was the Rude Boy

So we get Stajic rather than Montgomery

Perhaps it's just a matter of time until the Bosnar issue is addressed. We can hope🤞

“I’m just not able to do that anymore. If you do it half heartedly you get half hearted results.”

If the last few years were the result of him giving his undivided attention and trying his  hardest then it’s probably for the best that he’s stepping back.

If he started doing it half heartedly we’d probably get relegated before the second division is established.

There is a always more to the story.

I'm just disappointed that at this stage it appears the change has come over a dispute about staj, instead of, you know, 10 years of complete ****.

It only became about Staj because of the shitshow wsw have become since Popa left. I'd say the other board members had enough, and refused to follow the chairman's lead.

The big question now: what happens to the guys Rudan installed in the football department. I'd say that Staj will want to take control of recruitment, and that should be the end of Bosnar's influence. And then there's Costello.

Good news if true.

Although given he was not employed by the club at all, is gone really the correct term? Perhaps, banned? Ghosted?

Well I think everyone needs to start getting familiar with the name Jefferson Cheng, One of the members of the trust who owns the Wanderers. Looks like he moved to get Lederer off as Chairman and looks to be taking charge with a lot of back office change happening.

Getting Staj is Jefferson move, he was big on getting Staj for the Phillipine national team and he obviously likes what Staj brings therefore wants him at the club.

Lets see where the chips fall from here. Won't surprise me if Cheng becomes the new Chairman or someone who represents his views

So this is great though isn't it? Never a dull supporting WSW (except during the actual games, obviously).

Normally we would be talking about random Bundesliga 2 players and if we'd have Risdon back.

Instead it's new Chairman's total rebuild of club (again) and a guy called Jefferson.

Meanwhile over at Shellveyville they are reappointing the Women's Coach that has won the the league multiple times.

RBTV did state that "Many from the football department expected to depart after today", so there's a good chance he is one of them.

Who else would that include?

Gone as in “thank you for your services, we wish you all the best for the future”

Isn’t Staj still contracted to Perth? So all this is just conjecture at this stage.

I’m hoping the move to out Lederer was needed to get rid of Bosnar and get the coach the club wants.

If the club really wanted Staj, I'm sure one of the billionaires could grease the wheels of progress

We may have stumbled on the new direction that may propel us to those elusive “dizzying” heights a fore mentioned.  On the other hand, change is not necessarily a bad thing I am looking forward to what the new mob will do for us.

Hopefully all the remaining Sydney United rejects Rudan brought in via his “jobs for the boys” scheme, plus Costello. Then we can all take a deep breath.

Reminder that Wanderers is owned by 4 people which until now was headed by Lederer. The other owners are:

Jefferson Cheng (Filipino Businessman involved in multinational sports like Sabre united),

Glen Duncan (real estate mogul and owner of Pirtek) and

David Slade (owner of retail outlet Topshop)

It looks like Cheng has been looking to gain more control of the Wanderers football side for a while he is heavily involved in both Filipino and Australian football. Was once director of the Jimmy Fraser GK academy. But now looks like he has finally putting Wanderers as his priority.

The man has a lot of links to several Australian Football people so I am certain a lot of Lederers appointies are getting the boot.

It may not be a bad thing but we need to be prepared that Cheng is likely to bring a lot of his connections to Wanderers

If Costello goes then I hope Abbott goes with him.

Then this "joke" of a club may just start to turn around.

Reminds me that we could have had an Abbott/Costello combination leading the country !!

Took the Phillipines womens national team to a World Cup which is an outstanding achievement.

Finished ahead of the Matildas in the Asian Cup.

Built the structures to help Mariners become the club that it is today, taking them from last to 3rd.

All his achievements with the Matildas.

He wouldn't have been my first choice, but he has a decent track record of using youth and rebuilding clubs.

Perth he was never properly backed, no owner, poor squad and budget.

Got it - so we’re going to play the W-League team in the A-League. Sophie Harding is our saviour now

Albo's a bigger joke than both of them put together.
