WanderingToquii Posted Thursday at 05:49 AM Posted Thursday at 05:49 AM Do you think Hammond can step up to fill Milanovic's shoes next season? Or might we bring someone new to the Wanderers? If so, who are some realistic candidates?

I dont think hammond will ever have the same individual flair and ability to beat players, but I think a lot fewer simple opportunities will go to waste as he doesnt seem to over play and ignore team mate like Mila has a habit of doing. So maybe... lose a bit of creativity and individual brilliance but gain that back 2 fold in a player who plays with his head up a lot more
mack Posted Thursday at 07:36 AM Author Posted Thursday at 07:36 AM Seems like the LT extension being announced soon. On Hammond vs Milanovic, Hammond is right footed so if he stays on the right like Milanovic, he'll be playing as a normal winger. Which is different to how Milanovic plays. If he stays on the left like he was in NPL in order to accommodate Younis, then he'll be playing like Milanovic on the other side where we have Kraev currently. With the right footed left winger cutting inside onto their right to shoot or playing in an overlapping (or an open central midfielder). LetsPele 1
immortalshogun Posted Thursday at 07:58 AM Posted Thursday at 07:58 AM Just on Younis - i dont think PSV will keep him on which is great for us.. i feel like he would rip teams apart with the football we play dodson, jockman and sonar 3
mack Posted Thursday at 08:04 AM Author Posted Thursday at 08:04 AM Lawrence Thomas signs 2 year extension. WSWJACK, WanderingToquii, EmMac and 3 others 6

MathyouWSW Posted Thursday at 10:10 AM Posted Thursday at 10:10 AM Also I should mention that one thing that caught my attention in the video is Lawrence Thomas with training Tristan Vidackovic and Taiga Harper. I thought Taiga Harper might of departed the club? Then again...it could be an old clip because Jordan Holmes isn't in it and they've decided to add it to this announcement. mack 1

Pretty sure it's old, the GK training kit this year is green. MathyouWSW 1

Westiesarebesties Posted Sunday at 11:58 PM Posted Sunday at 11:58 PM Still not convinced after last night that whatever it is Antonnson provides couldn't be provided by one of the development strikers coming through.

Agree. The only game he has really impacted is the games against Victory. For visa signing its just not good enough. SBW 1

In some ways it doesn't matter if he's a visa signing or not we have only used 4 out 5 spots and of them one got 0 minutes and the other is either still injured or has changed careers. If we had all spots used and were desperate to bring someone in, then sure he's using a visa spot. But he's a decent finisher to have coming off the bench. I fancy that he'd have finished at least one of the chances Borello got Kotallo, PedroPony and dcrow 3

Mata seems to do a lot behind the scenes and seems like an awesome guy to have around, but contributions on the field have been limited. Antonsen comes on and presses defenders hard when they are playing out. And Luke all our attacking players probably finishes about one chance in three.
