Women's teams for pro-sports leagues are tickboxes on the list of things needed to help convince government and business to give them money.

At least every single other A-League Women’s team has a go.

WSW Women are woeful.

The men's team hasn't really been much better so at least the club are showing some sort of equality

The club doesn’t care.

I feel like they’d get rid of the women’s side, if it wasn’t for the bad press they’d get hey.

I don't know if it's just me but I just think our Women's team feel very disconnected with the club.

It honesty is really annoying. You have Western United and Mariners who come into the league and becomes instantly more competitive to the Wanderers team. It really is just an after thought and I don't think its talked about enough on the Dub because the club runs this team so terribly.

It'll be the icing on the cake if the Bulls get a gig, pinch some of our key players and finish above us in their first season :(

Maybe, but they do already have an NPL outfit due to their partnership with Northbridge, and let's face it, who'd want to play for us in our current state.

I agree.  Sadly, I've lost all interest in the womens team.  As other have said, the club seem to not want to be competitive and never have been competitive.  At our top level we are still a developement squad which just isnt good enough.  Our top side should aim to be ultra competitive.  Other clubs do it, even new clubs, so why can't we?

Yeah we've had plenty of opportunities to get it right and failed miserably. I've only retained interest this season because another player has joined who I coached in a State Futsal team many moons ago !!

Here’s hoping…

I tend to be skeptical of the source since he, you know, fabricated a footballer… But he does seem to be in the know with the WSW womens.
