Wheeler at RB was a failure with no punch. Once Carpenter's natural replacement came on, Grant, they looked far more like themselves. That said Grant certainly didn't pass every time she should have.

Yeah I agree. We need a natural replacement for Carpenter because we can't assume she'll always be available/picked.

Too much load on the players. Fly here, fly back, here's a world cup play a few matches, mid game champions league, Fa cups oh and we got Olympic qualifies etc. Calendar needs to be fixed on the girls side, feel like its a lot more messy than on the men's side. Can start by making Olympics u23 comp less load on the players. And you add the fact Gustavsson barely rotates the squad.

I heard on a pod that UEFA would like the Olympics to be u23s as well, but the other confederations don't want it as the womens side of the game is underdeveloped in almost all confederations (except UEFA). That way they can get money from the Olympics funding.
