It was Clisby who was marking Pennington when Bonetig was watching them, but after Bonetig looked back to Zawada, Clisby had decided to drift away from the middle and left Pennington unmarked. Hendrix (I think it was him) probably could have properly tucked in behind and that would have left Bonetig able to slide across, but that would also have left a gap in the middle for a run. WSWJACK Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 The keepers are very good fair play, cannot see more than one goal in this or more likely a 0-0, there’s some good enterprise out there today, but both sides are going to tire and play safe, got to score next or could be dicey
sonar Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 We're missing Nieuwenhoff and Ninkovic. jockman 1

Upthehill Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 How many crosses have we attempted that haven't cleared the first defender? An absolute di/ck load in the last 10 minutes. Theres so little movement that the man with the ball is standing still way too long, letting the defender cut the lane. I know its hot, but we need more energy in that last third Edinburgh, 102megan, mack and 2 others 5
StringerBellend Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Russell generally looks like he has a disagreement with the ball mack 1
StringerBellend Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Clisby is Clisby he hasn't changed at all, which says a lot that we bring him back. Was a big standard a league player then and is one now,.5 years and 11 pitches and we can't produce a ok left back GunnerWanderer and 102megan 2

Upthehill Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Of all the challenges, thats the one Abrahams decides is a yellow? What an utter flog mack, sonar and TwoLeftFoots 3

Wasn't a slide tackle, but everything else lined up. These refs are so predictably crap. Our player pulled by the shirt when they're about to attack and get into the box, 20 yards from goal. No YC. Nix player is outnumbered, in his own half, 70 yards from our goal, slight pullback. YC. sonar, Upthehill, jockman and 1 other 2 2

mack Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 A midfield scrap gets Milanovic a YC, another foul that's somehow worse than a pullback on an attacker driving into the box. sonar 1

They'll be sweating their balls off. This is why I always hope the kit each season is mostly red and then black. Even the fans in the sitting in the heated areas must be sweating heaps. EmMac 1

mack Posted October 22, 2023 Author Posted October 22, 2023 Wahey, Nix pick up a card. It's from timewasting on a sub but still.

Unlimited Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 Good defensive performance by Wellington, we were on top in the first half but as usual from WSW, we can't take advantage and our opposition just get more and more comfortable. Our bench doesn't inspire terror and it just got a bit all too easy for the Phoenix to defend the 0-0. 2 points dropped for sure. Let us hope the women can do better EmMac, mack, sonar and 1 other 4

StringerBellend Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 What happened in the second half 2 mins after the game and I can't remember anything happening
StringerBellend Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 That game was the football equivalent of Coldplay's second album LetsPele and 102megan 2
