This keeper penalty rule needs a lot of work to get it right. Keepers shouldn’t be allowed to do these time wasting tactics like Redmayne is

They changed it but didn't go far enough. The only properly banned touching the posts/net/crossbar and only the ref can decide if anything else is 'unfairly distracting'. They should just make the keeper stay on both feet, no jumping or hand waving or rolling garbage.

Personally I disagree

If the taker can't concentrate that's on him (or her)

I'd sooner ban the stupid stutter runs the takers do

The thing Redmayne gets away with that pisses me of his my leg is falling of act whenever they go a goal up in a derby, and subsequent miracle recovery

Not that I have ever been a goalkeeper but this has me contemplating the question "If I got my Wang out would that be unfairly distracting?" It would certainly be one for VAR to look at

Would they need VAR & and the hawkeye system to see it?

Might have to get Robbie Slater down there to check it.....

Macarthur 1-0 down at HT.

Jets-Roar 1-1 (abysmal camera angle & the jets keeper kit matches the Roar orange in the low light conditions so I have no idea what happened except it was at a corner and might have been a GK OG).

AU 1-0 up vs Northcote.

Goal - Zach Clough.

Northcote City 0 - Adelaide United 2

Whoops. I had Northcote 2 - Adelaide 0.

Damn, Luis Lawrie-Lattanizio currently playing for Campbelltown City seems he didn't do well in Canada playing for York United. He absolutely manhandled Jesper Webber earlier.

FT: Northcote City 0 - Adelaide United 2
90+3': Newcastle Jets 2 - Brisbane Roar 2
88': Campbelltown City 2 - Macarthur FC 0

Looks like we'll get a cupset tonight and it couldn't happen to a better team.

I haven't watched much games.

His contract ends in December, it'll be interesting to see if he gets an extension or he comes home and signs for an A-League club.
