The MSG rally was wild.

  • Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico "literally a floating island of garbage".
  • Grant Cardone in reference to Democrats said "we need to slaughter these other people".
  • Rudy Giuliani said Harris, whose current administration is facilitating Israeli war crimes, is on the side of the Palestinians "they're on the side of the terrorists".
  • Some religious guy said of Harris "She's he devil. She's the antichrist".
  • Stephen Miller, who has a long record of "accidentally" saying things the mirror Nazi propaganda, said "America is for Americans and Americans only".
  • Dr Phil said the the "country was built on hard work not DEI" which is an interesting take on slavery.
  • Tucker Carlson called Harris a "Samoan Malaysian low IQ former California prosecutor".
  • Trump said "a lot of people are coming from Congo prisons", "the United States is now an occupied country", called Harris a "low IQ individual", lied again about the hurricane response, said "we would kick their ass" in a war with China, repeated his "enemy from within" line that Republicans keep having to try to walk back in the media, in reference to RFK jr said "I'm gonna let him go wild on health. I'm gonna let him go wild on the foods. I'm gonna let him go wild on the medicines"

Appealing to the (very) low IQ electorate.

When someone tells you who they are,  believe them.

Worried about a lack of trust in news media so he overrules the editorial board's decision to endorse Harris on the same day one of his CEO's met with Trump. That'll fix it...

Didn't have an issue with the editorial asking for Biden to step down.

Been following this. I think the greatest surprise is that people weren't aware of publications endorse people and have always done so.

In the UK newspapers are traditionally aligned to a political party...

Daily Mail - Tories

Daily Mirror - Labour....

You don't need endorsement there..you just know.....

Camping trip this weekend.

WFMB - finally got my gear sorted in a way I'm pretty happy with. Tough as nuts oldschool canvas pack for the offtrack stuff but it's basically the size of a day pack, and just enough room for everything I need and nothing I don't, which is now not much.

Yep togs are packed.

Rain first though.

Going with a parks thing so no fire anyway, the one downside.

Actually if they were thinking about total fire ban they'd call it off by now i think or at least flag it. In which case i'd go somewhere on me pat.

WFMB

The marriage of @Balkanite and @CaptainJess last Saturday.

Haha! Thanks Ed  Was great to celebrate with a few forumites last weekend.

Wouldn't have happened unless a few people on here encouraged me to come to a Bav meet-up all those years ago.

I think it's also a pretty big win for the now defunct Relationship Thread (RIP).
