Central Coast 1 - Blacktown City 0.

Blacktown City did come back even though possession was in favour of the Mariners (ended up being Mariners 69% to Blacktown City 31%). I think Blacktown City put pressure on them in the last 15 minutes. Unfortunately, they left it too late. The real issue for Blacktown was the were trying a few long passes and they were giving away so many errors in doing so.

Hats off to Prendergast, played one of the best games in his career and for the Mariners to only get a goal in the 75th minute against, it really questions how they'll perform this upcoming A-League season.

Former Wanderers player Jake Trew came on and did well, hope he goes well for Blacktown in the upcoming NPL season with them.

Currently watching the Bulls vs Newcastle Olympic game. It's 2-0 to the Bulls. Goals from Brenton Speed and Andy Harper's man child, Lachie Rose and the other coming from Aleskandar Jovanic. Craig Noone has been putting pressure on Newcastle Olympic by proving some good crosses.

Angola forward was red-carded for an elbow in the head of defender going up for a high ball - perhaps Ams should watch how others ref????

Perhaps he should get demoted!

Milicic is coaching.  Mutch is playing and of course the out and out star is the Speed-Harper love child.

Rose definitely good against NPL opposition - perhaps that's where he belongs???  Mutch doesn't seem to be doing much.

Macarthur had a solid win against an inferior opposition in quite good conditions (perhaps windy but no rain).  Looked okay and have some good players.  They have Mutch starting but also Noone and Davilla - two very good and the other so-so.  I doubt Mutch would make the 1st WSW team again this year, so perhaps that says something???

Macarthur FC 3 - Newcastle Olympic 0

It was all one sided and Macarthur dominant the game. Possession was 90% to 10% in favour of the Bulls at one stage. 2 goals from Speed/Harper's love child. He almost did a hat-trick, I think if he got the hat trick, we probably got tweets about it from Brenton Speed and mostly like had a jerk fest later on.

ANYWAY!

Western United vs Newcastle Jets next.

Wow....Newy robbed of a goal there. The ball clearly crossed the line there.

No VAR obviously

This game between the Jets and Western United is going to cause controversy.

Couldn't get a screenshot in time but Jets had a shot at goal what looks like the ball went over the line but the goal was not given. Still stands 0-0.

Very close but uncertain. Whole ball over whole line? Not sure.

Not sure...if it wasn't over the line then nothing is.

No VAR job for you.
