Roll cal for the new season.

With what looks like a season that will definitely see active support face some sort of social distancing restrictions, this thread is to keep talks amongst those who have renewed for the upcoming season.

I'll keep everyone updated re Active support when news filters in from the club in due course.

Govt reckons vaccine available March next year. Expect only a few months plus of SD then back to shoulder to shoulder.

Go to Armageddon thread. Looks like MMR II vaccine helps as well.

Not yet known. Too much yet to be sorted with stadium and police.

The club said via Twitter yesterday, “We will following all current health advice and you'll be able to find that information in our Match Day Guide.”

So I guess we’ll have to wait until the WSW Match Day Guide is shared.

Hopefully we all get at least a few hours notice... and that the information is clear and unambiguous.

So in summary, until restrictions in eased; doing active support is somewhat difficult.

Every 2nd row of RBB active is taped off, everyone must be in their designated seats and sitting down. We got told to limit chanting (grey area much?), cant jump around, wave flags etc.

So in essence, every home match day will be last minute. We were ready to announce round 1 as per usual...then the rules changed last minute and we got the phone call 3pm the day before advising of the additional restrictions.

If rules are still in place, maybe we can throw in the odd chant here and there and just make noise with the drums etc for the whole game but who knows. The rules are not clear and are contradictory

Appreciate the update, any view on what you can/can't do for the away game(s)? Newcastle, CCM

Social Distancing at ANZ shouldn't be too difficult  :)

Considering the cows had one drum going on and on in Rd1 and a few chants going, surely we can do something similar. Even if its just La Banda or a mini La Banda jamming for the majority of the match and people jumping in with chants or clapping every now and then spontaneously. Anything is better than silence.

Remember it’s an away derby, so there’s already restrictions on what we can bring in.

I imagine (expect?) that getting yourselves in is difficult enough let alone drums, trumpets or banners!

Shoulder to shoulder is happening now, you see it every where.

Because it's football, the enemies and the state government are doing every thing to disturb the competition.
