Memberships

This has been discussed over the years, but has anyone ever had a proper answer from the club? The crap that is sent out every year! 
I have more hats, lanyards and stickers than I know what to do with.

This year, I get a certificate congratulating me for 10 years of membership. Wow…

As with every year, it gets left in a pile in the garage, and in a few months time after I’m sick of looking at it every day, it’ll go in the bin.

Even received 2 membership cards, which one will work, better take both with me.

 

tldr; why does there appear to be no opt out for the useless junk?

There was an error with the north end/rbb and they randomly moved everyone around the bays and spread out. Many people rang up to get out back into the middle 3 bays.

It's only after countless phonecalls from members did they acknowledge it was widespread and reissued everyone's card, moving people back to their original bay (most in the middle 3 safe standing bays)

Got email today, one week from opening game that the wanderers pack will be sent and arrive in 10 - 20 business days. I know they sent out the e-card email already, but after so many years you think by now they would have all this sorted well in advance. I know now they use the mber+ but I selected that back in September.

Just use the email link to sign in and pick what you want from what's available. Spend some or all of your credit. Or more if you want to and pay for the difference.

is it easy to get into matches with no membership card? i have not gotten anything yet but did buy a membership, the website says i have no upcoming matches so its confusing, but hopefully i can start attending matches again and actually be a fan again

If you renewed your membership you should have received an email with the digital member card and a printable version to use until the actual card arrives. If you didn’t get that give the club a call and they should be able to resend the email.

Our group had an issue where some people didn’t receive their email. Called the club and their memberships didn’t auto renew like they should have. The guy from the club was great. Apologised and sorted everything out immediately.

thank you i will look around, i believe i had auto renew on however i am not sure if that went through, i wanted to change area's anyways so i got a new membership but its linked with my membership number so i dont think it counts as a new membership, rather confusing and i might have left it way too late to attend the first match of the season but i want to try to attend every other match this season

i actually did get the email thank you but that is for my black and white seat instead of the upgraded seat so i am not sure how valid it is, should have sorted this out like a month ago, my bad

I’ve downgraded to a general admission membership this year. Have just put the membership card into my IPhone ‘wallet’ and it actually gives me an aisle number. I thought the GA membership for the upper tier behind the RBB gave me access to that full area, not just restricted to one aisle?

 

edit: I’ve just realised I had previously already put the card into my wallet. One card says gate B aisle 225, the other is gate D aisle 221-228. Wonder if for the derby they have allocated a specific aisle to me

I use Android - my (White & Black) general admission pass says Aisle 221-228

When I rang the club a month ago to switch to the general admission pass, the guy told me that for the derby, it's first come, first serve. It's advised that people get to the stadium early to get a seat in the North end.

Interesting, thanks for letting me know.

i won’t be able to get to the stadium until probably 7:30. Would assume that single seats will only be available right at the top, so might just find somewhere on the concourse to stand (until I’m pepper sprayed and beaten with a baton)

Sounds like you have a ticket, either the original one or the upgraded one. I’d give them a call and ask if they can resend your current ticket whatever it is, and at least you can go to tonight’s game.

Since tonight is sold out if they didn’t upgrade your ticket you probably can’t get upgraded tonight as they sold all those seats, but that can get sorted for the next game.

My first electronic membership card from WSW had entry via Gate D specified. 

Second electronic membership card (when the club re-sent it this past week?) then had entry via Gate B specified. 


Yet I had to run around and work out that I also had to go to a third gate, Gate C, to get a wristband, to get to my RBB seat. 😩😩

 

This damn club, why do they over complicate things.

I ended up walking past gate B which had hundreds of people waiting to get in, over to gate D where I just walking straight through. Given the fact it’s a concourse and you can access basically the whole stadium from any gate, why have sections

I did a bit of a walkie and they seem to have fenced off the north and south sections from the east concourse. For non-derby games, then yes I agree with you

thank you i sent one email to the club talking about my situation and the mistake i made in buying two memberships while just trying to upgrade one, and they fixed it instantly, very impressed with the membership team here
