Diamanti is going to do untold damage this weekend if we have no Schwegler

Ik less worried about Jurman since I have confidence in Ziggy. However we have opted to go into this season without a backup DM. This could be trouble

There is an opportunity here while they do have the likes of Diamanti, Scotty Mac and Berisha in attack defensively they are not really quick with Durante and Gulum and lets face it we will not be having much of the ball so unlike the previous games we will be hitting them on the counter very likely. Duke, Yeboah and Muller if they find the groove we could sneak a win. Of course the glaring hole in DM without Schwegler is a big weakness a Draw would also be acceptable here.

I feel like this might be Mo Adams game. As Sith said, their back line is slow as molasses. Give Adam 25 minutes of running at them.

Rudan is refusing to use a natural 6 in his midfield, so that match up should give Muller plenty of time on the ball. Jertec and Kone are career long AMs and Wingers.

WU are setup to outscore the opponents, defence seems to be a secondary consideration for Rudan.

I wonder why there is no news on Jurman and Pimmin?  It was a 48 hour wait apparently so they should have realised by Tuesday what the prognosis is.

So I'm afraid it must be like the name of that movie in Seinfeld, 'Prognosis Negative'.

Duke - Meier - Adam

Muller

shweggy (if fit) - Baccus

wilma - Jurman (if fit) - DM - DG

Lopar

Would like to see Sullivan in for Shweggy and Ziggy in for Jurman if they can’t play.

Suman, Tass, Trew, Monge, Grozos, Yeboah on the bench.

Have to agree with Adam on the wing over Yeboah. He seems to be a more complete footballer. Yeboah has been ineffectual so far, where as Adam has a good first touch, shakes off tackles and moves the ball on. His runs seems to be a little off, but he will pick that up if he listens closely to Muller

Muller was stretching his legs last week, and if he gets more minutes we're gonna see the trouble he can cause the grandads at the back.

1-2 is my prediction. We got this.

Having a wild guess, he could be ready to go. Babbs mentioned that one of the big upside was he came pretty fit since he'd been training with the first time in Germany. There's no need to worry about whether or not he will gel with the team immediately if the other 2 options at CAM can't trap a ball (yeboah) or can't make a pass (Grozos, dear god please have just been the nerves).

We have a week off after this so I really hope we aren't leaving him off the starting lineup.

If Jurman turns out to be fit and Schwegler is not, surely it's time to get Ziggy onto the pitch. We've been told he's a handy defensive mid

I fell like the forum went into the Roar game too confident that we were going to belt them and now we've swung the other way and think we're going to lose badly. Won't be easy but if we defend like we have been all season and Muller can start and link up with Meier and Duke I think we can get through their defense that has only kept one clean sheet (against last placed Nix and via some awful refereeing) and get a result.

I think most of us.....(well myself anyway)........thought that after the derby win we would come out full of confidence and fire up against the Roar. It didn't happen that way. We have a good defense but it was in attack that we were ineffectual. I'll wait until the match day squad is announced before going all doom and gloom...lol

Babbel to fire a rocket up the arse of every player after the insipid performance last week

I’m thinking it’ll be a gritty and hardfought 3-1 win

Not to sure about that Unlimited. Babbel in his presser said he was impessed by how we played....lol

What you say to the vultures and what you say behind closed doors are 2 different things. The man knows good football, that was not good football

I agree . No...it wasn't good football but Babbel has usually not been shy before about speaking in the press about what he expects from the players. Last season ...Roly is sloppy....is an example or the countless pressers where he lambasted the team for poor performances.

I think with this squad a quiet chat rather than a rocket up their @rses would be the way he will go.
