Let's see whether he gets on a plane to Saudi, or some other destination.

Somehow I think this story has more to run & I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed in Oz

Very interesting......

I love Popa for the ACL win and first few seasons but his scouting is pretty uninspiring

Perth, Castro was already there, Spira and Santalab is a case of getting old band back together, Davidson was an obvious target

Fornaroli is a know quantity in the A League and now Malik, which is the classic A League journeyman

I prefer to have resort to google to know who a new signing is, far more fun is the A League lucky dip

Unbelievable journalism. They said Glory were better. But what you expect from a News limited rag. Fakeroli back to his diving antics.

That may well be, but Glory with Malik instead of Spira/Lowry, plus Reddy behind them means trouble.

I just realised that Djulbic did his ACL in at the GF. At 36 years of age that should be the end of his HAL career, really.

Popa has to rebuild his defence: Lowry Davidson and Neville gone, Spira unlikely to return, Djulbic out for much of the season. Signed a J2/K2 defender, a pricey Swiss guy who hasn't played much in recent years, Malik, Ingham, Tratt. And behind of that is Reddy. There's a challenge, if he needed one.

Yep they definitely won't be going back to back Premiers. They've lost too much of their spine and haven't replaced them.

Not only have they lost a bit Popa has to reinvent a squad and his own coaching methodology to get similar results against some improved oppo. Case in point; they struggled against us last season in all three games when we were on our uppers with little quality & lots of kids. This season what can they birng to the table against a WSW outfit that looks so much better.

Yeah it definitely felt like we dropped points against them rather than fighting to win points. It was individual quality that go them over the line and our inexperience cost us. We've already shown it will be different this season.

Hopefully he signs four Bordas.

Just picked up James Meredith and they still have a decent squad so expect top 4 then 3rd year Popa syndrome will kick in next season.

Davidson replaced by Meredith. Don't think their equivalent.

Malik replaces either Grant or Spiranovic. Definitely not as good.

Fakeroli replaces Keogh.

Other changes.
