MathyouWSW Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 According to Gatt, Melbourne Victory are looking to sign 32 year old former Benin international Rudy Gestede Prydzopolis 1
MathyouWSW Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Ben Folami has join Victory (on loan from Ipswich Town)

I'm actually curious see him play. I did read somewhere that City were thinking of having him on loan at one stage as well.

The gifted Australia under-17 and under-20 starlet has made 41 appearances for Melbourne Victory since 2016 (in all competitions) without cementing himself in the first XI, but has quit the game after his contract with the club expired at the end of the last campaign. Rival A-League clubs had been chasing his signature for the upcoming season, which begins December 27. But, in a courageous and emotional post on Instagram, Hope revealed he suffered serious anxiety due to the ‘relentless’ personal abuse he was subjected to by fans, writing: “it’s time for me to call it in, for now”. Prydzopolis and StringerBellend 2
GunnerWanderer Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 very sad to read this hopefully he finds peace and returns to the game soon. StringerBellend, Prydzopolis, Edinburgh and 2 others 5
MathyouWSW Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Yeah, I really feel sorry for him and he looks like the kindest football player out there when I was reading his instagram post about stepping away from the game professionally. He is a Tassie boy so hopefully some NPL Tasmania signs him so he continues to follow his dreams of being a professional football player and then when he feels more confident, he gets the opportunity to play in the A-League again. Prydzopolis 1
MathyouWSW Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Victory have held talks with 33 year old Welsh Centre Back Joel Lynch. He also has offers from English and Saudi Arabian clubs. Prydzopolis 1

MathyouWSW Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 The latest rumours is that Victory are looking to sign 20 year old Australian centre back Dylan Ryan on loan from Dutch club Willem II. Prydzopolis 1
MathyouWSW Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 And now there's rumours that Victory has had talks with 27 year old Costa Rican centre back Erick Cabalceta Personally, I don't think this will be a done deal cause he just recently signed with a Costa Rican club AD San Carlos back in July this year. Unless, it's a loan move.
MathyouWSW Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 Victory are set to sign 32 year old Englishman centre back Ryan Shotton. Apparently him and Rudy Gestede used to be teammates at Middlesbrough

alexd Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Done deal. Its the only club doing bad enough for Popa to take his sons to and not stick out like sore thumbs.....
THEWANDERERSPOST Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Kevin Muscat also without a club, he could return to the Vuck if Brebner is sacked.

I wouldn't take any of them apart from Brillante, in which we already have a lot of players in his position. Matt Jurman was so inconsistent with us, but we have seen how Robinson can turn players around and help them perform.
