Considering that Brisbane inexplicably somehow made finals with a bunch of League 2 imports, probably

But I don’t think this guy will be a significant step up from who we have in the league at the moment

No signing will be, there's no money and a pandemic.

Ben Folami has join Victory (on loan from Ipswich Town)

Probably a good move for him; obviously nowhere near 1st team selection at 3rd Tier Ipswich.

I'm actually curious see him play.

I did read somewhere that City were thinking of having him on loan at one stage as well.

Talented Australian youngster Josh Hope has walked away from professional football at just 22, citing “nothing less than abuse” players regularly face from supporters.

The gifted Australia under-17 and under-20 starlet has made 41 appearances for Melbourne Victory since 2016 (in all competitions) without cementing himself in the first XI, but has quit the game after his contract with the club expired at the end of the last campaign.

Rival A-League clubs had been chasing his signature for the upcoming season, which begins December 27.

But, in a courageous and emotional post on Instagram, Hope revealed he suffered serious anxiety due to the ‘relentless’ personal abuse he was subjected to by fans, writing: “it’s time for me to call it in, for now”.

Yeah, I really feel sorry for him and he looks like the kindest football player out there when I was reading his instagram post about stepping away from the game professionally.

He is a Tassie boy so hopefully some NPL Tasmania signs him so he continues to follow his dreams of being a professional football player and then when he feels more confident, he gets the opportunity to play in the A-League again.

And now there's rumours that Victory has had talks with 27 year old Costa Rican centre back Erick Cabalceta

Personally, I don't think this will be a done deal cause he just recently signed with a Costa Rican club AD San Carlos back in July this year. Unless, it's a loan move.

Done deal. Its the only club doing bad enough for Popa to take his sons to and not stick out like sore thumbs.....

Reading that just how many aussie players he took there, including Matt Jurman.

I wouldn't take any of them apart from Brillante, in which we already have a lot of players in his position.

Matt Jurman was so inconsistent with us, but we have seen how Robinson can turn players around and help them perform.

The only thing worse than popa managing victory would be if he managed the smurfs

Replacing the Jets keeper who is here on loan with Izzo to provide more GK competition would be a good move although cap issues would make it unlikely.
