I think they will look at a loan in continental Europe. This is because of the BREXIT situation that is very difficult to get a UK visa, however getting a European passport still helps with the process and is easier than UK visa. Loaning him back here may impact his UK visa application. Bos being capped by the Socceroos may also help his international move.

O/S moves nowdays is crazy with passport issues. Socceroos higher than usual ranking should help with o/s moves in this transfer window.

Bos is Dutch descent and holds dual nationality with Australia and Netherlands.

It might mean nothing but maybe Melbourne City could loan him to a Dutch club?

You know that could happen. At the end of this season A-league has that massive off period. There is no benefit of Bos comming back here IF he was to move. If you are Manchester City you want him in pre season in July and playing for a spot in the first 11 by August/September where as here he would still be in pre-season until October.

Alternatively they might have him in the U23 team with fellow Aussie Alex Robertson and train with the first team with a loan in the summer, pending visa.

I hope if he signs he gets loaned back to Melb City. Too many guys go over there young only to warm a bench.

Same here.

ScoutAussie is saying if the signing goes ahead, he'll most likely go out on loan. Not sure if it's back to Melbourne City or to a club in Europe.

Finally that Kalac record is broken… shows how cheaply we have been selling players for in the A-League era!

Kalac 1.7 million back then was massive but still good to see City hold on for good fee, wsw should be offering Hoff a sweet deal now and looking at same fee in future.

the good thing about Bos is he stayed here almost 2 years once he pushed into first team, didn’t rush like so many do, I hope to not see him back in A-League anytime soon like so many coming back.

Bos should be thinking starting Socceroos berth for next World Cup if he’s improvement keeps on going as is.

Glover and Bos were already known and Tilio had lots of assumptions and possible interest.

They are very efficient at replacing players, especially visa players. They seem to attract good Australian players, often ones that fly under the radar, but are on the way up. I suspect that their reasonably settled roster that only needs a few players to plug in season by season is largely their advantage.

I will be interested to see how they go with Rado. So far he's been okay but hasn't had much to do. Just continue what Kisnorbo set in place.

Lam and van der Venne have departed City due to 'personal reasons'.

Apparently, Vidosic and van der Venne didn't get along at all. Not sure if the same applied for Lam.

Van Der Venne should have started in the GF ahead of Nabbout. He wouldn't have been happy with that so I could well subscribe to that theory.

So, will Melb City be the new "pissant" town...?

:D

Adelaide vs Heartle$$ will be interesting next time around

I guess Vidmar's AFC champions league experience played a part in him getting the job. Tough on Vidosic considering he's been without Nabout and Leckie while trying to juggle champions league commitments.

Rado has proven time and again he is not up to the top job. He's failed every time he's been given the opportunity. The writing has been on the wall since last season, particularly their terrible Grand Final performance.
