MathyouWSW Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 According the Newcastle Herald, Newcastle Jets have signed 19 year old midfielder Luka Prso on loan from Croatian club NK Osijek II: https://www.newcastleherald.com.au/story/7078439/newcastle-jets-make-first-player-signing-under-new-ownership/ Apparently, Gary van Egmond coached him while he was the Australian U20's coach so people are rumouring that van Egmond will be appointed the new manager for Newcastle Jets in the upcoming days.
MathyouWSW Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 Soccer Stoppage Time announced that Malaysian club Johor Darul Ta'zim FC will be loaning two players to the Newcastle Jets in the next transfer window: The two players are: - 21 year old Indonesian midfielder Syahrian Abimanyu - 29 year old Kosovan/Malaysian midfielder Liridon Krasniqi I think Krasniqi will be a great additive for the Jets.
MathyouWSW Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Signed Stamatelopoulos for the remainder of the season.

sonar Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Make it happen Newy......The A league needs more LOL's......
mack Posted February 9, 2021 Author Posted February 9, 2021 Kenny Lowe. Strange to even bother considering him. He's not a bad A-League coach but his best season is tainted because of the salary cap issue, and the following 3 seasons he went backwards until the year he got fired. Deans as an interim for Newcastle on 3 occasions is obviously not getting great figures (he's only won 5 out of 15 games), but that's still better than the likes of Alen Stajcic, Branko Culina and Markus Babbel (lol) and not far off Gary Van Egmond, Phil Moss, John Aloisi. sonar 1

Roy is one of the reason the Jets finished last couldn't score unless it was penalty. He had more than enough chances to lift the Jets and failed. Mat Millar is the only one from that list I would even consider but he wouldn't strengthen the team from what we already have. MathyouWSW and theguyyouwishyouwere 2

MathyouWSW Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 Arthur Papas is confirmed to be the new coach for the Jets next season. His first signing is rumoured to be Adelaide United player Jordan Elsey. Elsey was offered an extension at Adelaide United and wasn't interested.
