Brisbane Roar have announced the signing of ex-Wanderers youth player Nicholas "Nick" Olsen on a one year deal.

He is available for them in their FFA cup tie against Lions FC today

Parsons will stay in the league I'm sure, had some issues early in the season but looked good at the end had a falling out with Warren Moon. Wada ain't coming back. Olsen is probably going to end up back in the NPL NSW.

I'm sure that he'll find a new project that interests him.

Parsons departure surprised me, I think he played well for Roar and would be offered an extension. I wonder if Montgomery will sign him to the Mariners? Pretty sure Parsons was previously signed with the Mariners but played in their NPL and youth squads. 

As for Olsen, he'll probably end up at Sutherland Sharks.
