The Matildas and Socceroo players who wrote in a letter of recommendation may change things and get the government to put some money in. They have a lot of weight and support. The other issue is Brisbane strikers don't really want to share the stadium with the Roar and are eyeing off a possible expansion bid for A-league or NSD. However they are willing to play along for now to get the upgrade.
Carns Posted Friday at 03:22 AM Posted Friday at 03:22 AM If you can have three A-league teams playing out of one stadium in Melbourne you can have two football teams playing out of one in Brisbane. It's a no brainer from either club's perspective. Edinburgh and marron 2

Built in February 2020 so yeah it's only 5 years old. The stadium has a 'horse shoe' design (basically one end of the stadium has less seats then the other) and It still mind boggles me why it was built like this in the first place. With that being said, if they were to 'upgrade' the stadium, it'll most likely be that section of the stadium. They could probably get an additional 5,000 seats to maybe 10,000 seats (that's probably pushing it) and make it a stadium where it's got two levels/tiers of seating through the whole stadium. mack 1
