Ibini's a local and of NPL quality..:xnod:

Has pace. Was promising a 3 or 4 years ago and now scores around 1 goal a season.. perfect WSW winger

(see also Yeboah, Kamau, Sotirio ...)

I look forward to see him run really fast then concede a goal kick in the a league

You're being tough on Yeboah. 7 goals in 20 games for WSW.

According to Soccer stoppage time Tommy  Oar will be Macarthur's first signing.   Also saw somewhere else that Stephan Mauk will sign with them as well.

Oar has been ok for the Mariners this season........He most probably has just one or two more seasons at the top level tbh. That's an ok signing for them........ Experience.

Oar just turned 28, if Matt Simon can continue to get gigs, Oar has another 6-7 years in him minimum.

It feels that way because he's been around since he was a teen (I didn't know he was so young until a friend pointed it out, too).

Anyone catch Tony Rallis on SST last night shooting on MacArthur FC and their poor recruitment strategy?

He's had a massive dig at Sam Krlovic, the old Sydney United executive for the way how he has been handling signings and recruitment of players, they have only signed one player but they have missed out on at least 20 players, now they are getting desperate and they are trying to tap up contracted players at the Jets.

Rallis also mentioned that MacArthur are all huff and puff, the staff and their academy are nothing at the moment.

A bit harsh. Look for me regardless of what happen the A-league needs a strong MacArthur Bulls it needs to be the sugar hit that that the Fraudsters are not. They look to be on track in terms of pull for supporters and so far from the pre memberships that they will be bigger than the Fraudsters and possibly Melbourne City. They teamed up With WSU Campbelltown campus for their youth academy and are making their presence known in the Campbelltown, Camden and Livo area.

In terms of players for all we know there might be a few players already signed but cannot be announced until end of season (#Vedran). Its why its imperative that our club pin down (#Duke) as many players as possible because Macarthur is just going to swoop in and take them

MACARTHUR FC’S LOCAL INVESTMENT GROWS

MACARTHUR FC’s future was strengthened today with investment committed from two new local businesses.

As the Club moves into its next phase, two local families, the Gerace and Mammone families, will formally support the Club as a new shareholder.  Walker Corporation will continue as a major five-year sponsor of Macarthur FC, while the Gerace and Mammone families will take Walker’s place as a shareholder, strengthening both the local support and investment in the Club to keep expanding and providing pathways for local footballers.  “The goal from the beginning was to establish a professional football club for the region’s future generations – we have successfully established a grassroots club thanks to the strong and significant support from local businesses and communities, junior football associations, and Macarthur’s local councils,”  Walker Executive Chairman Lang Walker AO said.  “And now as the Club moves into its next phase, local investment will help it deliver opportunities to the region, while Walker will continue our support in the health and wellbeing of the community through our investment in the Macarthur Medical Research Centre.”

Roy Mammone, said he was thrilled as one of the regions largest employers to have the opportunity to support Macarthur FC and the region.  “The Club’s next phase is only possible because of the significant support and investment from the current shareholders, businesses like Walker, local home builder Wisdom Homes, Australian tech innovators Solos and homes.com.au, as well as the Club’s community partners, Campbelltown City Council, local shopping centre Macarthur Square and Western Sydney University,” Macarthur FC hit the ground running, establishing a Centre of Excellence and a grassroots community engagement program to support three local football associations, representing 28,000 players and more than 90 clubs.

Michael Gerace added:  “The Club is very excited to be so close to our inaugural season. I’m looking forward to seeing families and football fans getting behind the region’s first professional football club.”

Macarthur FC Executive Chairman Rabieh Krayem said “This investment by two of the most successful business people in the Macarthur region is a great endorsement of the Hyundai A-League and the achievements of the club.”

Well he has been shown the door at the end of the season with City so I wouldn't surprise he ends up there.
