GE942150 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 This foxtel created club has now won 2 fa cups before us. Bloody frustrating.
mack Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 In addition to just being crap for 10 years, we also get awful cup draws. This season was the best we've got in a while, and it still ended with an away game to another A-League team in the Quarters. We don't seem to ever get that lucky draw where we get one of the qualifier A-League teams and then all NPL teams to make a final, and had multiple times where we did get NPL teams and lost. It's not the draw it's us being ****. Losing to a bunch of hospitality workers and uber drivers at Leichhardt for example sonar, pseudonym and marron 3

BoyFromTheWest Posted September 29 Posted September 29 One of the challenges for us has been the constant turnover of players. Macarthur, this year, are still the core of last year. They are able to build on what they had in FFA Cup, whilst we are always trying to work out who we've got. Not an excuse, just reality. StringerBellend and marron 2
StringerBellend Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Why is Jurman not totally **** for them as he was for us?

mack Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 19/20 Jurman wasn't the problem, the problem was everyone around him in defence constantly getting hurt, and at the end of the season the club got rid of Lopar and bought in that awful bloke who got chipped by Diamanti multiple times.

It's all a blur of poor goalkeeping decisions to me, Vedran running out of his area waving his arms around v Sydney like a man who has just realized he has left his iPad on the train, Margush crash tackling people in the box, Vedran giving a corner away in injury time as he couldn't be bothered to bend down and pick the ball up etc.

Prendergast came in as an injury replacement for Suman when Suman got another bad concussion during an NPL game in early 2020. Kalac was on the bench for one game, the next week Prendergast took the sub spot for the 1-1 behind closed doors derby in March 2020 at Parramatta. During the next week the competition shut down. When it came back for the last handful of games Lopar had refused to accept a pay cut so he was gone, Suman was going to Macarthur next season so the club didn't want to risk playing because of the conflict of interest that can happen in that situation but he stayed on the bench over Kalac who was too young to be considered over Prendergast. Davo Posted October 4 Posted October 4 So they've added a white and black away kit to the black and white home kit? Is their third kit going to be grey? BoyFromTheWest and nmh94 2

We haven't won anything for nearly 10 years and our last go in Asia we had a useless Spanish defender (who I can't be bothered remembering his name) and Brendan Hammil getting absolutely torn to shreds I'm not giving up the basket case crown until we actually start playing some decent football.

You're not wrong but it's weird - somehow for me, them winning the Aus Cup diminishes the prestige of that comp rather than enhancing the prestige of their club. mack, Sithslayer1991 and StringerBellend 2 1
