beatsurrender Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 I'm just so pissed off at the way this season has gone. Another at SOP to come as well. Nothing positive. Fans turning on each other now. I just listened to Santo, Sam and Ed's cock fighting podcast 'Blood on the beak' to cheer me up. wendybr, GunnerWanderer, tardotz and 1 other 4

GD07 Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 So from some of the posts in this thread we can see how poor people are at comprehension, and that to them the RBB are just a performance troupe of monkeys who are at games for their enjoyment. theguyyouwishyouwere, Erebus, WSW27 and 2 others 5

Until that is done then the $120k of fines is irrelevant. I'm just as interested in how much money is being wasted on security for the last two games considering there won't be an active presence. If the talk is to be believed we were to get beefed up security and police to protect us from those big bad FCK FFA t-shirts which if worn too often will lead to the end of civilisation. Or something. We haven't even touched on why almost 10k paid up non-RBB members don't bother turning up any more. Is that also the RBBs fault? One could argue that the big bad RBB scares them away until you take into account the game with the active bay closed was a record low attendance in our clubs HAL history, so lack of active support didn't bring hordes of non-active members to the game. Dead atmosphere means less people renew. If even a quarter of those 10k don't renew next year that 120k doesn't look so big in the grander scheme of things. Wanderboy, EmMac, btron3000 and 4 others 7
ColdRock Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Seeing the line "what's it going to achieve" a lot now. Like we are supposed to front up to the game, bend over and cop a reeming from the authorities. Fact is the authorities have basically been given the green light to antagonise a physical response from anyone who turns up. Is it disloyal/selfish to give that a wide berth? How is an incident between the RBB and the authorities tonight going to help the club? Edinburgh, EmMac, Erebus and 1 other 4

HAPPY Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Happy Here again Lloydy get one thing straight you are not a fellow supporter because you are not a soccer supporter you are part of an antisocial gang called the RBB dont use a soccer game to support your desire to be antisocial go do it at a pub or in your own backyard please do not bring to a soccer match. Tonight we had 9000 odd people at the stadium supporting our team and the noise was great the game was great "who do we sing for" yep all the chants were their and sung in the right spirit. Your and your merry gang of misfits missed out, I didn't !!!!!!!! Bye for now from Happy PS: really Happy!!!!!

HAPPY Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Happy Here again It seems a lot of Misfit RBB ignored the ban and sneaked in to the stadium, bet you enjoyed the soccer game without having to be follow a drummed band of misfits who think life is about bucking the system and authority , enjoy your sad life!!!! . scarcev Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 (edited) People are entitled to do what they want but one thing is for certain the fans go to the stadium for the football not for the RBB. To those that stayed home you missed the best 45mins of our season I hope you get whatever you want out of not turning up. Edited April 7, 2018 by scarcev
Erdz Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 The main question SHOULD be: What is stadium security doing to prevent flares from getting into the grounds, they already extensively frisk members, what is the point of having cops around the RBB if they can’t even identify who lights flares. Having flares hidden in the toilets from the Rugby Union game the night before isn’t good enough. Our tax money is going towards those who can not do their job, that is of the utmost importance, if you get paid to do something, DO IT RIGHT, it seems obviously the cops are letting things slide just so that the club and game can have bad publicity and can justify them getting to our games in large numbers to rip our club off. How people are too stupid to look at the job of authorities baffles me. Unlimited, Valter43, Neverbloom and 1 other 4

NickNova Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 These comments increase my hangover. Sure, no active support may mean **** all to some of you and you may argue it's not needed, but to us who are active it means a lot and is the big difference between us and other sports. Best 45 mins? Took over 6 months for that. We've been through lots of **** nights where it was practically only us in the stadium and people say "wow, they really love their team, even in a shitfight", and now it's all how they're not here to support the team, how selfish. If you don't care about active then that's fine, just don't go bitching that we're thinking of only ourselves, there's more at steak here and if that's hard to understand then you'll never know why we have issues with extra riot police and anti-terror security to say the least. Hiriser, Valter43, wendybr and 9 others 12
HAPPY Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Happy Here again This bloke Nicknova is a classic example of the antisocial misfit that makes up the RBB "increase my hangover" " First I bang the drum, then I bang your mum " what sort of human being publishes crap like that, a misfit and that is the RBB . Popular Post Erebus Posted April 8, 2018 Popular Post Posted April 8, 2018 (edited) 22 hours ago, HAPPY said: LLoydy, I go to the wanderers games to enjoy a good game of soccer socialise with like minded friends, So so I Happy, So do I. But I don't want my name and face in a terrorism file. I don't want my wife to be manhandled and patted down with a metal detected "going off" for no apparent reason. I don't want to be stared down by power tripping thug security guards that try to stop you from celebrating Santa's hattrick. I don't want to have to show my membership card every time I enter the bay. I don't want to have to fear for my safety despite being surrounded by riot squad and security. RBB and like minded people have to been to a fkc tonne of terrible matches all over the country and the world, in terrible conditions, mid week where all these other so called "true fans" stay at home because the scheduling is bad, or the team is doing badly. 5k at Campbelltown for ACL and FFA Cup semi final. Low crowds when we are at bottom of the table. Low crowds when it is raining. But many other people and RBB are still there, making noise doing everything they can to lift the team despite them playing terribly. Oh, but NOW the team needs us because they've been dire the entire season. NOW they need the circus monkeys to dance to "support the team". F...u..ck. off. I've paid my money. I've travelled the country and overseas spending thousands of dollars following this team. I've spent hundreds of hours documenting the first couple years in film form. I've spent more every week producing podcasts and articles. And there are many like me. But because I choose not to go to a game and get fkd by authorities and profiled and risk my and my wife's career by getting on some "list" because someone swore is a joke. The generalisation from people like you and some in the media that the RBB is full of 20 yo lebos is entirely misguided. What makes you a true fan and someone like me, my family and friends not? I watched the game. Just at home. The best 45 minutes? I've seen better. And against better opposition. Brisbane were terrible and made us look good. Trying to guilt trip us that we should be there for the team, like numpties such as Robbie Slater. I'm not going to put aside the bs we face every week to appease people like you and "support the team no matter what" despite constantly being vilified for it. I do support the team no matter what. RBB were in a lose lose situation in people like yours minds. Win = don't need the RBB Lose = its the RBB's fault. Again, fkc off. We sing because that's how we support. We don't sing for you. You can't demand we turn up and put on a show for you. When WSW was winning, everyone got on board. But now when WSW lose, now its RBB's fault. Look around you. 5 years ago every A-League team had decent support and crowds. Now, no one is left. Why is that? Not all teams have been terrible. Its because the authorities, the clubs, the FFA have killed all organic growth and support. Its a sad sight. The Cove is only there because SFC have been handed wins and titles and have bowed down to the FFA for their goody two shoe image. People forget that Cove, NT, Red Army clashed years before WSW were around. There were flares and fights since day 1 in the A-league. This is NOT an RBB invention despite the popular opinion stating as such. The issues have been boiling since we moved to SOP. Its getting worse and worse and people are sick of it. Why have numbers ACROSS THE BOARD (at WSW games and the league) dropped the last 2 years? That is the real question. Stop trying to blame your own passionate fans for joining the long list of people that have walked away entirely from the league. We're still here though. Many that left before us will never return. EDIT: Now I KNOW Happy is a sad troll. Edited April 8, 2018 by Erebus Unlimited, mltezr, btron3000 and 28 others 31
