had a great match imo, i like what i see so far

Yup. Looks a cut above the average foreigner that rocks up ready for a holiday. Appears to be that even at 33 he gives a ****. One thing he has that martinez never had is that he seems to know whats happening around him as he receives the ball. martinez almost always had to look up and read what was happening then make a decision. Cejudo seems to have something in mind when he gets the ball.

He seems very comfortable shooting from outside the box as does Roly. I see some goals in those 2 this season.

Great skillz, great pace, great attitude. This guy is gonna tear the league apart.

Still giving him the benefit of doubt that he will live up to this prediction.

He mentioned in an interview a couple of weeks back that the three Spaniards are still getting used to the physicality of the HAL. And the refs, I'd say.

Especially QLDers Gillett, Beath and Green.

To be fair to him, he's clearly on a much higher level than everyone around him. Hard to have much of an impact if even when you beat your man, which he does often, your options to pass to are Jumpei and Sotirio.

Yeah, but there have been quite a few times where he has shown all the tricks to beat 1,2, 3 opponents within a square yard and then loses the ball when he tries to beat them all over again.  Maybe part of the cause is your point but I haven't seen it that way.

Me either. Really good players make other players look good (or at least put them into position to muck up all on their own!), not hold onto the ball because they don’t trust their teammates.

He’s flawed, like all A-League players. Trick is to get the most out of them.
