It's great that he seems to be progressing well over there. Didn't really improve much while he was with us. I guess it helps being surrounded by better quality players and staff.

The pace and robustness of the SPL suits his game a lot better than the A League.......ditto the likes of Atkinson and Devlin

Just found this on BBC. Just one sentence but it confirms the daily record article that Baccus is being scouted by Championship clubs specifically Huddersfield.

And St Mirren conceded a goal in the 96th minute to draw at home against 10 man St Johnstone!

Had a "dead leg" heading into the game. Was 50/50 didn't want to risk him with a game in 3 days, plus WC compensation for the club from FIFA with Baccus getting picked.

Well there a lot of Championship clubs rumored. But there have also been mentions of Ligue 1 and Bundesliga clubs which may have been the reason Baccus got on the Romano radar.

True but if St Mirren received $3million plus bid for him in January they can't say no. They aren't Celtic or  Rangers they a run on a tight budget, the way the gaffer is talking he sounds resigned he will lose Baccus in January.
