Sithslayer1991 Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 Put a few balls forward to the striker creating chances. Also copped a pretty cynical foul in the 81st minute that the Motherwell defender got sent off for.

MathyouWSW Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 Highlights of his first game here: Around the 40 second mark is where you see him delivering a beautiful pass to Jonah Ayunga. Around 4:05 mark is the horrendous tackle he received from Rickie Lamie. mack 1
StringerBellend Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 The bit after 50 odd seconds will make him fee at home, plays a fantastic ball, big lump up front puts into the stand.. mack 1

Yea to be honest he is he did really well. He got St Mirren going forward more often than not. That tackle would have been a "Welcome to Scotland". The defenders probably had instructions to "watch number 17". MartinTyler 1

Sithslayer1991 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Congrats to Baccus on his first win with St Mirren. His mazing run was a big contributor to the goal they scored. Looking very pivotal to that midfield for squad most likely to be mid table in the SPL. At 36 seconds he makes a good run that should of ended with at least him testing the keeper. His contribution to the goal is at 1:00. EmMac, ItchyNek, THEWANDERERSPOST and 3 others 6

Making a mention of his time with us, but mostly on his own goal to make the national team. I think he is still bit behind in the pecking order to make the squad. BoyFromTheWest Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 I was chatting to a mate who lives in Macarthur and is a fan there (sad really!!). He was talking about Baccus but assumed they had the 'good one' and I had to gently disabuse him of this unfortunate hope, explaining they had the decent but psychologically challenged one who had never really reached there potential he promised early on. Had to tell him the good one went you Scotland. He's Scottish (Rangers fan) and realised the sad truth for Bulls. StringerBellend 1
Sithslayer1991 Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 Its been a fantastic month for Baccus. He is going beyond the peak level he had with Babbel, which means he has a decent midfielder next to him and proper structure to follow in the team that uses his skills to its fullest. Having Ryan Strain there as well helps being o/s. Its all about consistency now, but he has done very well in his first month in Scotland. StringerBellend, sonar, Edinburgh and 1 other 4
StringerBellend Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 Shows the A League isn't as **** as people make out. Ryan strain is doing very well over there. Decent player but hardly a star in the A League THEWANDERERSPOST, sonar, theguyyouwishyouwere and 2 others 5
MartinTyler Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 If ever there was an 'A' League player who had done his time and needed to advance his game by moving overseas it was Baccus. The robust nature of the SPL suits his game and hopefully he kicks on. jockman, StringerBellend, THEWANDERERSPOST and 6 others 9

Sithslayer1991 Posted August 29, 2022 Posted August 29, 2022 1 hour ago, MartinTyler said: Depends on what those people are comparing A League with True the 2 biggest difference between SPL and A-league is the amount of games played and relegation. That comes with added pressure and intensity. The standard outside of the big two isn't far off A-league teams. MathyouWSW, sonar, MartinTyler and 2 others 5

Yep, it's the right time for him to move, too many go too early and end up coming back after struggling to get on the bench in the Belgium third division. Parklea Messi has gone at a point where he's matured enough to hold down a first team spot in a decent league. jockman, ItchyNek, MartinTyler and 5 others 8
