mack Posted December 10, 2017 Author Posted December 10, 2017 My vantage point isn't the best but I thought he was our best player in a very poor side, he was constantly harried by 2 or 3 smurfs but managed to find space & passes. EmMac, sonar and Edinburgh 3
Neverbloom Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 i do agree he was one of our best last night, but that isnt saying too much

Yep. He was always surrounded by 3 to 4 opposition so he couldn't create. Had no help at all at times.
Zelinsky Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Holds the ball too long, that's how he finds himself surrounded, me thinks. TheSweeper and wendybr 2
WestSyd Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 I think this guy is better used in a more attacking role. Wouldn't mind even seeing him play on the wing instead of Jumpei. EmMac 1
ManfredSchaefer Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 I'm so glad we signed Roly Shame it was only 2 seasons too fooking late. If he doesn't do a huge turnaround in form in next few games he needs to be given the 'Hey, how about you train by yourself for the next few weeks whilst we talk to our lawyers' treatment

ItchyNek Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Sounds like he is still undecided on a move to PG, they are keen on him though and trying to get it pushed through.. I would want him to stay if he liked to as i think we have not seen the best of him just yet under MB.. Put a strong marquee in front and behind him in the middle of the park, and with Duke/Yeboah on the wings and Ziggy in defense we have grounds for a good looking squad
mack Posted May 11, 2019 Author Posted May 11, 2019 Saudi Arabian side Al-Faisaly. Finished 6th last year in the Saudi league. No Perth reunion with Popa then. Prydzopolis and tardotz 2
Sithslayer1991 Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 More than happy he is overseas. Seething that there was no transfer fee because end of contract... but good on him LeeMarvin 1
Zelinsky Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 Roly is now representing Curacao. https://www.worldfootball.net/report/freundschaft-2019-juni-curacao-indien/ Prydzopolis and LeeMarvin 2

LeeMarvin Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 Nice. Will see if I can find a telecast. I find I enjoy watching CONCACAF, African and Asian competitions more than the highly polished big money British and Euro ones. The best thing I remember in CONCACAF was Jamaica beating the US a couple of years ago! Paul01 1
mack Posted February 5, 2024 Author Posted February 5, 2024 Looks like he's on his way to Victory. He posted an insta pic from a plane with an add-on stamp of the victory pre-game song.

BoyFromTheWest Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 He was decent until he came to us. Was injured a fair bit as I remember but also part of a crap team at the time. It's an interesting recruitment. I think I prefer ours.
mack Posted February 6, 2024 Author Posted February 6, 2024 Much better in his second year, and that second year was a godawful team especially the back 5. The famous Vedran corner kick incident, Tarek playing central defence with Hamill, Baumjohann stinking up the joint in midfield etc. StringerBellend 1
StringerBellend Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 Maybe Popa should sign Travis Dodd or Nick Carle. Might as well go full retro BoyFromTheWest and mack 2
