Woo... super keen to see him, nico and nicols link up. Especially if we got a decent striker/9 soon

Better than the 2 previous weeks.

If someone is out at Campbelltown & wants to drop into training this morning, they'd get a pretty fair idea of how we will line up tomorrow

Amazing debut, looked sharp. Very excited to see an Antonis - Mitch - Santa - Nico front 4. I can only assume the result is the only reason everyone is not fapping themselves stupid over this boy's start.

He was good, appeared keen & lively. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in the red & black hoops.

Very noticeable that he chased back in an attempt to prevent Holman getting the shot away that sunk us. After we conceded, he turned & glared at our 'captain courageous' who as usual, displayed zero effort to track back.

Big loss if true. Was one of our better performers when he arrived.

PAOK own his services for another 12 months, so he doesn't have much choice, but to return to Greece & await his next destination.

True, I guess if they want to keep him then there's nothing he can do about it. I mean I know PAOK are a pretty big club but the Greek league seems like one of the worst places you could be in a World Cup year.

Terry got his first start for VVV Venlo playing in the Dutch Cup. Played RB and scored a goal.

No wonder he wanted to come back

Right fullback?

According to Goal app. Formation was traditional Dutch 4-3-3 and Venlo won 3-0

Another career going nowhere fast. It is a tragedy that a player like him sits on the bench somewhere in Europe. Had he stayed put he'd be knocking at the Socceroos door. Instead...

Such a waste be basically rescued or season last year, maybe he can do same again

He just needs to play. Should stay in Australia for a consistent season or two and get a move to somewhere that actually wants him.

We all said it last year. How many of these players just don’t learn. The PFA have spoken for years about supporting players and helping them make good decisions etc, and it just keeps happening.

24 years old, should be a mainstay of Socceroos midfield for this WC and next two campaigns.

Just in case you might think "well he's on the bench so that means he's pretty close to starting".. the Eredivisie has up to 12 players on the bench. The teams often have two sub keepers on the bench and multiple players in each position. They aren't using him as an attacking midfielder so it looks like he's stuck as at least their 4th choice defensive midfielder (behind Leemans, Post & van Bruggen) and they might not even want to use him as an attacking midfielder (where he might be even further down the pecking order).

Would I be correct in assuming he is earning a much bigger salary in Europe than he did with us. ?
