Dodgy BOM.   Got up really early to do a load of washing for my mob of circus animals, the forecast said sunny with wind later on however I noticed the mist and fog creeping in then 20 minutes later while hanging the stuff on the line the fog was enveloping completey.  The BOM forecast then mysteriously added in "Patchy Fog" right then on the website.  It's like someone looked out the window, saw the fog and thought  " Oh s**t, didn't see that coming,  I better change that so it looks like we forecast it "

Foggy in the city down by the harbour this morning. The east looked glum and depressing after last night's mauling. It was beautiful.

Went to pick up my dad at Stanhope Gardens who was staying with my sisters for the past two nights and the M7 heading north was fog bound.  Felt like winter.

El Nino declared by the BOM yesterday also.

@marron, all that regrowth from the wet few years will be drying out big time no doubt.

Yea that ain't right at all. We barely out of winter we are already experiencing 35 C + weather. Should mid to high 20s at its hottest

Don't know how I am going to get through what, 4-5 years of this **** before we get la nina again.

Just been for a 20k run and it’s like the middle of ******* February out there…humid to ****, cloudy and warm. Came back sweating like a ******* pig.

Took the kids camping yesterday/today because the bom said the severe weather warning would drop by the arvo

cue all night gusty winds, mrs got the dirts with me for endangering their lives not helped by their claim that my "arm was on fire". It was just singed a bit, yeah all the arm hair is gone, so what....

Better than my weekend. I was at the pasta sauce aisle in Woolies today and stood next to this women looking at the sauces....

You know when you muck someone around and say tap someone from behind on the right shoulder when you are stood to their left....Well...her kid comes of nowhere and like really slaps her hard on the arse...like you hear the smack on skin...

And I ******* swear for a moment she looks at me...... and thought it was me!!!

I thought there was some chopper activity last night!

 

Now... just reading.... but we were camped a k or so away at most. And no-one came through past us to get to where they were rescued from. Meaning they tried heading dowm rodriguez from above. Idiots.

They have it, as well. Pretty sure they would have spotted us. But they also had the PLB pinging so they would have know we weren't the right people.

Looked at the snow report at Perisher yesterday. Grim.

I was there less than a month ago and they were celebrating linking all four resorts - it's still technically winter and it's all melting...

And this is probably the third **** season in a row too.

Yeah, snow has been hammered, and not much in the outlook either. Going to be a very early end to the season.

August Sydney temp record could go later this week….over 31c possible….nuts.

I had the afternoon off today and jumped on the Manly ferry…it was like mid summer.

By the way Norma’s deli in Manly….expensive but nice.
