Neverbloom Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 cant wait to see him in action montywoodpeg and Alexander 2
Neverbloom Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 he has impressed me so far, plenty of promising play, a few missed passes, gave away the ball once or twice but still looks good xxBrandonxx, Paul01 and Alexander 3
theguyyouwishyouwere Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 deadset the guy is Sotirio with more experience and less passing skills. Edit: which is good. looks an exciting player.

Carns Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Jumpei's instructions should be just run, beat a man or two, then pass the ball. Nothing more, nothing less. His shot seems to be a bit temperamental, and he tends to lose the ball the longer he holds on to it. Can be a great player for us, if used correctly. Prydzopolis 1

The polar opposite to Castelen. Prydzopolis and Carns 2

Alexander Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 The one that went sky high? :-) You're stubborn man FCB Prydzopolis 1
btron3000 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 How many nutmegs is he on now? 3? Lol I like him more than Castelen. So far it's the same end product, but at least he moves intelligently. The only time Castelen seemed to be taking any notice of the game was when he might receive the ball. I loved me some Castelen but he was a frustrating mofo. EmMac, wendybr, Prydzopolis and 2 others 5
Zelinsky Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 The one that went sky high? :-)Your a stubborn man FCB Yeah yeah. Castelen was doubled and trippled because he was the guy who could make a difference. He was also frustrating as ****. I don't see a player yet in Jumpei who needs to be doubled and trippled. I am more inclined to join the Jumpei jubilation society once I see him delivering something. The Reds are going through a similar process as us. They were knackered in the end, they were not a true measure. Let's wait until Rd 6 in Melbourne, shall we? Prydzopolis 1
Burgerman Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 His late Ono like chip kick shot was delicious and I think he will score a few on top of his man beating abilities. Prydzopolis and wendybr 2
tardotz Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 A bit too early to say. He definitely can go past players, he can read the game but not sure if he is strong enough. He already seems to be combining with Mitch ok hopefully that will only get better. wendybr 1
StringerBellend Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 The Nico Jumpei Mitch combination to set up our second goal was quite sexual Valter43, EmMac and Prydzopolis 3

luisenrique Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 He is class, some great combinations and is only going to get better. His touch and close control is sublime. Burgerman, StringerBellend, GunnerWanderer and 1 other 4
Paul01 Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Three nominations in A-league team of the week. But here's the most ringing endorsement http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2016/10/28/ono-convinced-me-join-wanderers-reveals-kusukami wendybr, Burgerman, Unlimited and 1 other 4
theguyyouwishyouwere Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 its amazing what a month or two can do to a player in football hey. MartinTyler, DomJ, WSW27 and 1 other 4
jackyboyc Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Took him until the 90th minute to get in behind the defence. He looks shot and is half the player he started out the season as theguyyouwishyouwere 1
Sithslayer1991 Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 He is a bad rutt at the moment. Will need to lift his game the closer we get to the Champions league
DinoPresinger Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 http://www.a-league.com.au/article/western-sydney-wanderers-winger-jumpei-kusukami-vows-best-is-yet-come/1p2oue187ts451fnga4vmj8i53 C'mon how can you stay mad at him? BrightSpark and BruceL 2
EmMac Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 I am sure he is a lovely chap, but keep hold of the damn ball mutherfudger. And then numbnuts, pass it accurately. Otherwise, sure he's ace.... sonar and MartinTyler 2

Jewwfro Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Show me the Jumpei that played the opening game of the season. He was exciting to watch against the Smurfs and clearly has the ability to take on players but has lacked any positive forward movement since the 4-1 CCM away win. Maybe Popa has given a set of instructions which he hasn't been able to adapt to however I feel like he might show his true ability in the ACL games. tardotz and xxBrandonxx 2
xxBrandonxx Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 (edited) Decent player. Lacks the physicality the a league is known for. 9/10 times gets pushed off the ball. Edited February 16, 2017 by xxBrandonxx Wanderboy, tardotz and EmMac 3
