btron3000 Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 So City, Victory and us are walking out. Cove are doing their thing. Rumours the Mariners are going to be silent (yeah I know!) and also walk out. The Den made similar statements to us and NT, but are they planning any action? And what of the others? Glory had a relatively high number of banned, given their crowds. The Den don't have a home game (as in Brisbane) for around 5-weeks. Wow. That's tough
NickNova Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I saw a tweet that said YA would stay silent after we leave and then walk out at the 80th minute. Not sure if RA would be up for anything just yet.

Rookoz Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) He is a hun though… I think your mistaken, that would be Hadley, Jones, Wilson, Daily telegraph and the FFAAs in Glasgow's Rangers v Celtic rivalry ... is what he meant. Not sure if it's this > Hun = Germans = House of Windsor (formerly known as House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha/parent house > The House of Wettin anglacised to Windsor ) Edited November 26, 2015 by Rookoz

Their forum is split down the middle between those who think it's just WSW being WSW, and the ones who understand and see the bigger picture here. Any support is worthwhile, regardless of numbers.

Unlimited Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 No I kinda think walk out means walk out not change bays. Don't know how you manage the Poznan when not look means not look. We would look like fools if we just played musical chairs and if I see you damn you'll know about it. Damn it Unlimited just bleed some for the cause and get out of your comfort zone. It will be practice for the revolution. *sigh* fine I have a family member who'll be accompanying me to the game - who is underage - he'll be allowed into the bar to watch the rest of the game, right?

In a Gosford pub he'll probably be the oldest one there....
Taurus Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I can't be there on Sunday, but I'll have a $1 on the walkout occurring in the 66th minute
Smoggy Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) Mack, you have voted to walk out and also not be there ? we all know you have a ******* split personality type thing going on and all. Or have you cloned yourself? Lol Edited November 26, 2015 by WSWBoro
Prydzopolis Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 RBB guys if you are reading, there are still people out there on social media who have no clue what the walk out is about. Megan has suggested copies of the RBB statement released Monday be brought on Sunday but I think it needs to go a step further. If possible, can we get a specific statement printed out for active & non-active fans on Sunday at the Central Coast match to explain it all properly? All the facts, all the arguments & the reason we are walking out? If we want the walkout to succeed, we need to have as many people who are informed on the issue. Edit: - One guy thinks that by not turning up we are not giving the FFA gate takings! No that's not correct! - One guy thinks that the walkout is to protest against AJ, RW, terrograph & Hadley

I don't think I can get away with any more but maybe this might help in some litre way in voicing out ours and the RBB's concerns.

Thanks Pryd, what pub (again first away match ever, no idea on logistics)?
Prydzopolis Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I got it wrong last time, but I believe it is the Settlers Tavern (the one near the KFC), lots of parking near there & people around so you won't be alone. Beware: There is a sizeable hill between the Pub & stadium!
Larfn Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 No one has really mentioned and I suspect a heavy presence of police and so on at the game. I hope any walk out is a peaceful representation and doesn't provide more ammo to this situation.

I don't think I can get away with any more but maybe this might help in some litre way in voicing out ours and the RBB's concerns. I personally think the statement is sufficient at this stage. Some of those in the RBB's hands are full at the moment - in terms of organising a legal team in relation to the unjust bans. Myself - I have already uploaded copies of the statements (2 statements per A4 page) - I've already shared it on the (dreaded) Wanderers Family page & on the forum for people to print and share. A lot of it will be via word of mouth though - it's up to each and every single one of us to educate those not in the know. Not just the core. Not even just the RBB. But each and every Wanderers (and A-League) fan. There is a bigger picture here - this affects all of us, and the issue is one of basic human rights.
Prydzopolis Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I've tried working on the Facebook groups & it just ended up me being So many people don't get it, so many people who have read the RBB statement have obviously been reading something different
West13 Posted November 26, 2015 Author Posted November 26, 2015 I bet StPeters wishes the cove had walked out instead of watching the All Age 10s play tonight. Wow lots of fouls. Cudos on the RW chant and banners though.

torcidaSI Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Was there a deliberate attempt by the camera crews to avoid showing the Cove's banner slogans? What were the messages displayed?
marron Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Was there a deliberate attempt by the camera crews to avoid showing the Cove's banner slogans? What were the messages displayed? Cameras never show that kind of stuff. Even when it's not having a go at newscorp employees

Themumf Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Good banners, good chants. A pretty decent effort to kick off the weekend's festivities.
Rookoz Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I will recommend that for those who will walkout to be at the WLeague game beforehand.
WestSyd Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) I will recommend that for those who will walkout to be at the WLeague game beforehand. That's not a bad idea for people who want to get some sort of money's worth haha. I might actually watch them. Didn't know this game was beforehand. Edited November 26, 2015 by WestSyd
wswtragic Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) SBS is reporting that RBB and North Terrace have three requirements for the protests to stop: ACTION REQUESTED OF FFA: 1. Issue a statement condemning the articles and supporting the fans. 2. Launch an investigation into how such information was leaked and present the findings to the public in a transparent manner. 3. Work out and implement an INDEPENDENT & TRANSPARENT APPEALS PROCESS, agreed upon by all parties including every active support group. Seems like a totally reasonable set of requirements, which FFA could do IMMEDIATELY. If they don't do 1 and 2 today, and commit to 3, then they are just full of shite.
