Edinburgh Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Maybe part of MC's problems is interference in the coach's decisions. Aloisi mentioned in an interview yesterday that unlike his time at MC he doesn't have that problem at the Roar. wswtragic, Neverbloom and Prydzopolis 3

Three year's old. Heads must roll !! Fold the club. We're 6 from 42. Terrible. ******* horrible record, Barcalona would have had 4 champions league, 4 league titles & a couple of league cups by now in the same 4 year period. How does Popa still have a job? Generator Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Let's be realistic, this season is a real test for Popovic, just not in the sense of keeping his job here; rather, it's all about showing potential bosses offshore he's not just a flash in the pan, that he can recover from ridiculous fixture demands and poor player acquisitions, and adapt his style to suit the times and the squad at hand (wow, long sentence). Like many I wasn't happy with last season (even with the ACL victory) and thought that questions had to asked, but a part of me knew the club would persevere, for better or worse, for at least one more season. Thankfully Popovic is coming through and all signs are pointing to a strong domestic campaign. All good things for us and Popovic - we get to cheer again and see some pretty exciting football, and he gets another positive tick from chairs elsewhere that might soon take a punt on that young but now seasoned upstart from the antipodes. So yep, I did (and kind of still do) think that Popovic has something to prove, but only in the sense of him outgrowing this league. Neverbloom, Alexander, Gazmon and 8 others 11
